(Baden, PA) A gas leak occurred in Baden on Monday, which caused an evacuation to happen. One of the residents of McKee Avenue noticed a bad smell, and then people in all six homes on the avenue were led by local firefighters and police away from the scene. Officials from Columbia Gas were able to find a pipe that was broken from a leak that did not cause hazards. The officials previously conducted line repairs in Baden on Friday. The gas did not enter any homes, and the situation has since been resolved.
