According to a release on Tuesday from Nicole Roschella, the Regional Communications Director of the American Red Cross Greater Pennsylvania Region, those are encouraged to both give blood and platelet donations and to bring friends along to help others. Roschella notes that individuals that are eligible are encouraged to prioritize donating blood, especially for those giving platelets and those with type O blood. Roschella also comments that in honor of the thirtieth anniversary of the hit show FRIENDS, those who attend between November 18th through December 8th will get two pairs of custom socks with both the logos of the American Red Cross and FRIENDS, thanks to the collaboration of Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Projects. Roschella also states that those who decide to donate until November 17 will receive a $10 e-gift card to a merchant of choice, as well as being entered immediately for a chance to win a single $7,000 gift card of two that are available.
