(Aliquippa, PA) An Aliquippa woman was jailed for driving under the influence on Thursday. Police were called to a crash that was reported on the 1700 block of Boundary Street at 9:45 p.m. Forty-nine-year-old Anitra Strother of Aliquippa had the smell of alcohol, slurred speech and glassy bloodshot eyes. Strother ran into a parked car and told police she lost control when she looked at her phone. A cup from Solo that was red was also found in Strother’s vehicle with alcohol in it. Strother was then taken to jail for driving under the influence.
