2023 on track to be 2nd least snowiest year on record

(Pittsburgh, Pa) The National Weather Service of Pittsburgh released a report that with no substantial snow in the forecast for the remainder of the year, 2023 is on track for the 2nd least snowiest year on record for Pittsburgh, 2.2 inches above 1998. Record keeping started in 1880.
According to the National Weather Service of Pittsburgh, from 1991-2020 , Pittsburgh averaged 44.1 inches of snow a year.
