Beaver Falls Car Cruise Rescheduled to September 12, 2020 Due to COVID-19

(Beaver Falls, Pa.) Steve Peterson and Tom Gargaro, Co-Chairman of the Beaver Falls Car Cruise joined Frank Sparks during Teleforum Tuesday April 21, 2020 to talk about the rescheduling of the Beaver Falls Car Cruise due to the COVID-19.

Peterson and Gargaro explained that the cruise is annually held on the second Saturday of June each year and with that date fast approaching  they approached the rest of the committee about moving the cruise to later in the year for everyone’s safety. The hours will be Noon- 8 p.m. with Opening Ceremonies occurring in front of the Beaver County Radio Studios at noon.

The pair said everything is still be planned the same and the date is being moved for this year and will return to its traditional June Saturday for 2021. Beaver Falls Car Cruise Committee on Teleforum to give an Update on this Years Cruise Tuesday 4/21/20 at 10:10 a.m.

(Beaver Falls, Pa.) Tom Gargaro and Steve Peterson Co-Chairman of the Beaver Falls Car Cruise Committee will join Frank Sparks on Teleforum at 10:10 a.m. Tuesday April 21, 2020. The interview will be live on 1230 WBVP, 1460 WMBA, 99.3 FM, and also streaming Live at beavercountyradio.com.

Tom and Steve are going to give the listeners an update on this years cruise. The Committee posted its Facebook Page that the cruise will be getting moved from the original June 12, 2020 date and they will update us on the new date as well as times and other important information that you need to know.

State Representative Aaron Bernstine says State Government not Working Fast Enough on Unemployment Issues

Aaron Bernstine was asked by show host Frank Sparks if he felt the State Government was working fast enough to process claims and fix issues with the unemployment system. Bernstine said they are not and he is down right angry about it.

State Rep Aaron Bernstine talks Ellwood City Hospital and Unemployment Compensation on Teleforum with Frank Sparks

(Beaver Falls, Pa.) Pa. State Representative (10th District) Aaron Bernstine joined Frank Sparks on Teleforum Friday, April 3, 2020.

Bernstine talked about a project he has been working on with Ellwood City Borough, The US Army Corp of Engineers, PEMA and others. The Group has been exploring whether the former Ellwood City Hospital could be used as a medical facility to help with the overload on the health system with the current COVI-19 Pandemic. Bernstine said that Ellwood City Borough Manager David Allen and Mayor Tony Court have gone above and beyond the call of duty to get the project off of the ground. He said the Army Corp of Engineers gained access to the facility earlier this week and have written a report to give to PEMA. If approved and the facility is going to be used it could be up and running in  a matter of weeks.

Rep. Bernstine also talked about the the issue of people trying to file for unemployment and what they should do. he also addressed the recent crash of their web-site and told the listeners to be patient that once they file it’s been taking around 10 to 14 days to receive a PIN.
