The undefeated Blackhawk Lady Cougars took on Quaker Valley in a fast moving playoff match. Blackhawk took off in the first and never lost their speed. Quaker Valley couldn’t keep up and trailed by 20 at the end of the first. By the second half the mercy rule kicked in. Blackhawk ended the game victorious and will move on to the next round with a final score Blackhawk 62 Quaker Valley 24.

Lincoln Park shot off to a great start against North Catholic during Wednesday nights game. The Leopards secured over a 10 point lead early in the game, although North Catholic would fight back. NC outscored LP in the second quarter to bring the game to 41-33 at the half, still in favor of the Leopards. The second half was a barn burner with a close scores to the end. Ultimately, Lincoln Park held on to their lead to end the game with a final score LP 77 NC 67.

The Beaver Bobcats hosted Freeport Tuesday night in girls 4A and had no trouble beating a Freeport team that could not get any offense going on against a good lady Bobcat effort that Freeport could not score on or stop. Beaver led by as much as 17 a couple times in the game and shot decent hitting some 3s and playing hard under the boards. Beaver will get a test in its next game against Elizabeth Forward who beat Central valley tonight.
