Uniontown beats Beaver Boys 72-53 on WMBA!!

 

In a game heard on WMBA and Triblive, Tom Hays and Bruce Fry had the call from Peters Township high School, it was the Beaver boys losing in their playoff game to Uniontown. Unionown took an early lead in the game and never looked  back leading by 14 at the half. They extended that lead in the second half and they advance to the next round of the WPIAL playoffs. For Beaver their season ends, but it was a good season for the Bobcats.

Beaver Girls Advance with 51-42 win over East Allegheny on WMBA!!

 

In a game heard on WBVP/WMBA and TribLive  Tom Hays and Bruce Fry had the call from Peters Township High School, it was a game that started out slow. Beaver gained the lead early in the 1st quarter taking an 11-8 lead after 1. East Allegheny kept it close making it 22-17 Beaver at the half. Beaver got the lead to double digits in the 3rd, but East Allegheny didn’t go down without battling. In the end Beaver came away with the victory and advance in the WPIAL playoffs with a 51-42 win.
