When they first played this season on Beaver County Radio, Riverside and Freedom combined for 28 points on the scoreboard, and Riverside won 18-10.

This time, in a playoff rematch, Riverside and Freedom again put 28 posts on the scoreboard. Only this time, the Panthers kept more points for themselves.

#4 Riverside gets their 2nd win over #12 Freedom this year, eliminating the Bulldogs 21-7 in the Class 2A quarterfinal at Seneca Valley on WMBA. Riverside moves on to the semis where they will play #1 Steel Valley (50-13 winners vs. Laurel), site and time to be determined. Freedom’s season ends at 4-8.

Freedom’s Cody Roth and Riverside’s Austin Dambach were selected as CCBC Players of the Game.

Beaver Falls 28, Keystone Oaks 21

Beaver Falls came into their game with Keystone Oaks winning 9 straight games. And on the back of their star running back, they have made it 10 with a trip to Heinz Field.

The #2 Tigers advance to the 3A Championship with a 28-21 victory over the #3 Golden Eagles at Ambridge on WBVP. The Tigers won on a touchdown run by Derrell Carter in the last minute before stopping Keystone Oaks on their final drive.

The Tigers improve to 10-1 and will get a rematch with #1 Aliquippa (46-20 winners over Derry) at Heinz Field next Friday. Keystone Oaks ends its season at 9-2.

Carter and KO’s Quran Powe were selected as the CCBC Players of The Game.
