The Red Storm rolled into Pat Tarquinio Feild against the Beaver Bob Cats and turned the ball over too many times. Beaver started out strong, but punted more in the second half than putting up points. New Castle had a chance, but couldn’t pull out the win. The final score was;

In the Second game ever at the new Blackhawk High School Football Field ………
It was Ambridge at Blackhawk. The entire first half was completely dominated by Blackhawk. the first half ended with a score ofBlackhawk 41 Ambridge 0. The second half blackhawk put in they’re secondary which gave the Bridgers they’re only touchdown of the night. Blackhawk then tacked on one more touchdown and brought the game to a close with a final of Blackhawk 48 Ambridge 6.
1230 WBVP’s Bob Barrickman and Bruce Frey have the call from Beaver High School of this WPIAL Class 4A Northwest Eight Conference high school football game as the Bobcats battle the Red Hurricane. Austin Bailey will provide the Freedom United Federal Credit Union side line reports throughout the game. The Pittsburgh Pirates and Miami Marlins game scheduled for Sunday, September 8, 2018 has been postponed due to inclement weather. The game will be made up if needed for playoffs implications on October 1, 2018. If not the game will not be made up.
In a game heard on WBVP and WMBA it was a game dominated early by Western Beaver who jumped out to 13-0 lead early and had a lead as big as 27-0. Shenango fought their way back making it 27-13 into the fourth quarter with chances to score, but the effort comes up just short as Western Beaver wins 27-13.
In a Game heard on 1230 WBVP, it was a game that was dominated by the Fighting Tigers of Beaver Falls. The tigers traveled to Sarge Albert Stadium in Center to take on the Warriors of Central Valley. Jumping out to a 14-0 lead Beaver Falls scored on the 1st play of their possession, but Central Valley scored and made it 14-7 Beaver Falls. The Tigers never looked back and dominated the second half and taking the game 41-7. Beaver Falls Takes on Quaker Valley next week and Central Valley dips out of conference and plays North Catholic.
