Join Beaver County Radio for another double helping of coaching insight heading into the final week of the WPIAL regular season!

Mark Lyons has led his young Central Valley Warriors squad from an 0-4 start to playoff bound in the Tri-County West. Lyons will talk about his team’s turnaround and what to expect going into their Week 9 matchup with Aliquippa.

Gene Matsook’s Rochester Rams are 8-1 overall and heading to the WPIAL playoffs as the 2nd-place team out of the Big Seven Conference. He’ll talk about his Rams players, their successful 2018 campaign, and their Week 9 matchup with Bishop Canevin in Dormont.

Western Beaver 20 vs. Neshannock 19 Final on WBVP/WMBA and Trib-Live Sports Network

In a game heard live on WBVP and WMBA the Neshannock Lancers took the long bus ride to Western Beaver to take on the Golden Beavers for a key WPIAL Class 2A Midwestern Athletic Conference high school football game. It was  a game in which Neshannack took an early 7-0 lead, but Western Beaver answered and made it 7-7. Neshannock took a 13-7 lead then Western Beaver answered making it 14-13 at half. The teams traded possessions making it 20-19 where it went final with Western Beaver taking the win.
