It’s a tripleheader tonight on Beaver County Radio! Things get started with action in the 3A girls’ playoffs as Beaver takes on East Allegheny at Peters Township. Coverage on Beaver County Radio begins at 6:00pm. Then the stations split as WBVP brings you the Blackhawk/Derry boys’ game from North Allegheny, while WMBA stays in Peters Township for the Beaver/Uniontown boys’ game. Both games are from the first round of the 4A playoffs, with both tip-offs set for 8:00pm.

The two teams were neck and neck at the start of the game, with Mapletown just pulling ahead at the end of the first quarter, leading 9-8. Quigley fought back in the second quarter and finished the half 24-13 over Mapletown. Quigley held that lead for the rest of the game, finishing at 47-33 over Mapletown. Quigley will continue on to the Quarter Finals against Greensburg Central Catholic.
