CCBC Players of the Game Lincoln Park vs. Sharon High School Boys Basketball Tuesday, March 19, 2019

 

Lincoln Park Boys took the win tonight after holding the lead throughout each quarter of the game. Starting out with a 13-10 lead at the end of the first quarter, Lincoln Park pushed to increase that score gap throughout the second quarter, ending the first half at 38-23. Sharon tried to fight back, closing in the gap by the end of the third at 52-39. In the fourth quarter Sharon closed in even tighter, but Lincoln Park held that lead until the end leading by nine points with a final score of 67-58.

Moon Punches Ticket to Hershey with 73-55 win over Mars.

 

In a game heard on WBVP/WMBA and TribLive it was Tom Hays and Bruce fry on the call from New Castle High School in a rematch of the 5A WPIAL Championship between Moon and Mars. It was a game that Moon started out with a lead taking a 15-10 lead after one. I n the second they started to build on that taking a 35-24 lead at the half. In the second half they built on that lead making it 55-39 lead after 3 and then went on to win 73-55 and punch their ticket to Hershey Friday and play the winner of Archbishop Woods and defending State Champions Abington Heights.
