Steelers dominate early, hold off Titans for 27-24 win

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Pittsburgh Steelers stand alone as the AFC’s last undefeated team thanks to a dominant start and a bit of late luck. Ben Roethlisberger threw two touchdown passes to Diontae Johnson, and the Steelers remained perfect by holding off Tennessee 27-24 Sunday in a game originally scheduled for Oct. 4 and rescheduled by the Titans with the NFL’s first COVID-19 outbreak during the season. Stephen Gostkowski, who made a 51-yarder earlier in Tennessee’s comeback try, missed a 45-yarder wide right with 14 seconds left that sent the Steelers running around in celebration.

Shenango Vs. Rochester Game Suspended in 3rd!

Prior to kickoff, Rochester stadium was evacuated and locked down due to a police situation in the area.  Hours later, the game resumed only to be suspended once again for lightning.  The game had a score of 13-0 Rochester near the end of the third.

Beaver Falls wins against Neshannok 46-27!!!

The Tigers and the Lancers met at Reeves Field tonight for this evenings’ game.  The game started out close with back and forth scores between both teams.  As the first half was soon coming to a close, the score was 16-14 in favor of Beaver Falls.  Just before the half ended,  Neshannok managed one more score to take the lead 20-16.  The Lancers went to the locker room on top of the game. During the second half, the Tigers demonstrated that they were not going to allow the Lancers to continue with the lead.  Beaver Falls began to perform like they have all season,  putting Neshannok on the losing side of the scoreboard.  Neshannok attempted to catch up, but they left too many unanswered points to do so.  The game ended with a score of 46-27 Beaver Falls.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Tennessee Titans have been through so much dealing with the NFL’s first COVID-19 outbreak during the season resulting in one game postponed and rescheduled to a second game pushed to a rare Tuesday night kickoff. Now they host one of the NFL’s two other remaining undefeated teams with the Pittsburgh Steelers finally coming to town Sunday to play that first game postponed by the coronavirus pandemic. The Titans also heard the talk they should be punished, even Steelers tight end Eric Ebron’s call to make them forfeit. Titans linebacker Rashaan Evans says this is the type of game players want.
