The Bobcats went up the road to the home of the Blackhawk Cougars and in front of a big crowd showed that they are a team that can play, Blackhawk came out and hit a three pointer on their first shot but that was the last lead of the game for the Cougars on senior night for Blackhawk. The first couple of quarters where what Bruce Frey described as street ball with both teams running and gunning up and down the court. The first quarter Beaver went up 14 to 7, the second quarter was fast paced and Beaver was playing a two three zone and it was causing Blackhawk to turn the ball over many times . The third quarter Blackhawk started to make a comeback getting the lead down to 11 points but the Bobcats kept making shots and finished the game off going away with the win 63 to 39. Mike Azadian and Bruce Frey had the call on 99.3 FM 95.7 FM and WBVP/WMBA and world wide on Beaver County Radio.

The Tigers Win They Knock Neshannock 52 43

The Beaver Falls Tigers and the Nesannock Lancers battled from the jump in a very physical hard fought game by both teams with pushing shoving words being exchanged through out the game with one t called on Beaver Falls probably to get things calmed down. As Mike Azadian who had the call along with Joe Sager on color described the game as rock um sock um, and it sounded like both teams were playing very hard with playoff spots on the line in front of a big crowd from both schools showing up to support their home teams. It was a very low scoring game in the first quarter and with the Tigers hitting a buzzer beater to take a 13 10 lead  after the first quarter.  The second Quarter was all beaver Falls getting their biggest lead of the game going into half in front 29 – 17 .The third  quarter the Lancers came out and forced 6 turnovers off the Tigers to get the Tigers coach’s attention for who let his team know that their play was unacceptable. They played a very strong forth quarter keeping their cool under pressure and it payed of for the Tigers by not making the big mistakes that often  cause a team to lose a close game the final score Beaver Falls 52 Neshannock 43. The game was heard here at WBVP WMBA and 99.3 FM and 95.7 FM with Mike Azadian And Joe Sager on the call.

LINCOLN PARK TURNS UP THE HEAT THIS ROUND WITH THE BOBCATS FINAL SCORE 76 59

IN FRONT OF A SOLD OUT CROWD AT BEAVER HIGH GYM THE LINCOLN PARK LEAOPARDS BEAT THE BEAVER BOBCATS IN GAME THAT WAS CLOSE FOR THE FIRST 2 QUARTERS.  WITH ONLY 2 POINTS BETWEEN THE TWO AT THE END OF THE FIRST IT SEEMED IT COULD BE A REPEAT OF THE LAST GAME WHICH LINCOLN PARK GOT THE LAST SHOT TO WIN A GREAT GAME. BUT LINCOLN PARK KNEW COMING INTO BEAVER IN FRONT OF A SOLD OUT CROWD THAT THEY BETTER TRY TO KEEP THE BOBCATS FROM GETTING ANY RYTHYM AND BY MID SECOND QUARTER THEY STARTED TO PUT SOME DISTANCE BETWEEN THE HIGHLY RESPECTED BEAVER TEAM. THE  LEAOPARDS WENT INTO THE HALF WITH A LEAD OF 37-28 AND YOU  COULD SEE MAYBE LINCOLN PARK WAS GETTING IN THE GROOVE AND SOME OF THEIR STAR POWER WAS STARTING TO SHOW. IN THE SECOND HALF BEAVER MAY HAVE BEEN PLAYING A LITTLE BIT LIKE A TEAM THAT MAY HAVE BEEN GETTING SOME HEAVY ARMS BECAUSE THE SHOTS JUST WEREN’T FALLING AND THE LEAOPARDS WERE POURING ON PRESSURE AND THE BEAVER BOBCATS WEREN’T LOOKING LIKE THEMSELVES WITH THEIR SECOND TOUGH GAME IN AS MANY WEEKS. WE ALL  CAN EXPECT TO SEE LINCOLN PARK IN THE POST SEASON AND FOR A VERY GOOD BEAVER TEAM THEY NEED TO GET BACK TO THE BASICS AND SHAKE THIS GAME OFF AGAINST WHAT I WOULD THINK IS ONE OF BEST TEAMS THEY WILL SEE ALL YEAR.

LINCOLN PARK SLAM DUNKS THE COUGARS!!

Lincoln Park came out a little slow on offense but got the ball bouncing up and down the gym , you might of thought you were listing to a all star game with the slam dunks and the NBA three point range shots. The Cougars had a problem moving the ball against a very stiff defense that was putting the press on and challenging Blackhawk up and down the court. Lincoln Park put on a show for their fans with slam dunks N B A three point range shots and a real good defense, Final score Lincoln Park 81 Blackhawk 42, Mike Azadian and Joe Sager had the game on 99.3 95.7 1230 WBVP and !460 WMBA and Beaver County Radio World wide.

Beaver Falls Routes Ellwood City 62- 32

Not much went wrong for the Tigers as they played pretty sound basketball over the first quarter to start the game off on the right foot. Ellwood City was playing with out the full line up and one of their best players was watching from the bench. And the Tigers went right to work on the inside were they could use a height advantage to keep the Wolverines on their heels.
