NEW BRITAIN, Conn. (AP) — Nehari Crawford pulled in a pass over the middle from Daniel Parr and took it 56 yards for the winning touchdown with less than a half-minute to play Saturday and Duquesne defeated Central Connecticut 38-31 to win its fifth Northeast Conference title and earn the automatic bid to the NCAA FCS playoffs.
The catch on the winning TD gave Crawford 10 receptions on the day for 124 yards and placed him as the all-time leader in career catches for the Dukes (8-3, 5-1).
CCSU (6-5, 4-2) knotted the score at 31 with 5:35 to play when Jacob Dolegala, who had already passed for three touchdowns, ran it in from the 5.
Parr completed 23 of 33 passes for 277 yards and two TDs, while A.J. Hines carried the ball 31 times for 125 yards and two touchdowns
Dolegala passed for 219 yards and three touchdowns for the Blue Devils. He connected with Tyshaun James for two scores and tossed one to Aaron Dawson.

WESTMINSTER14 GENEVA 7 HALF

Westminster scored first with 10:18 left in the first half.  Shimone Walker capped  a 71-yd dive with a 4-yd run.  7-0 Westminster.  The Golden Tornados tied the game at the 5:01 mark when Trevon Marshall went 23yards to cap a 61-yd drive. 7-7. The Titans quickly regains the lead . The drove  67yds in two plays.  A Konieczka to Cox 58 yad TD pass gives Westminster a 14-7 lead.

Grove City 35 Geneva 27 Final

Geneva rushed  out a 20-0 lead in the first quarter but, the visiting Grove City Wolverenens out scored the Geneva Golden Tornados 35-7 to win the game 35-27.  Grove City was paced  by Wesley Schools 142 yds rushing and three touchdowns.  Tyler Gufstafson  caught 13-passes for 127 yds and two touchdowns.  Grove City scored four touchdowns in the fourth  quarter. Two of those TD’s came 38-seconds apart. It was a record setting night for Geneva running back senior Trevon Marshall. He scored four touch downs and broke the school’s all time rushing  record  with 285 yards. The record was held by Gerard Mushitti. Geneva will host rival Westminster next Saturday. GROVE CITY 35 GENEVA 27 4th QTR

Grove City cut Geneva,s  lead to  27-20  early in the fourth quarter. Josh  Ehst hit hit hit Tyler Gufstafson for   67    yds and a touchdown.   After a  bad snap  on a  Geneva field goal. Grove City took over at their own 38  the Wolverens marched to a game tying touchdown. Wesley Schooley went over from the 7. The PAT was good giving Grove City the lead for the first time 28-27. After a Geneva three and out, Grove City took only one play to score again. Wesley Schools went45 yds to give Grove City it’s second touchdown in 36-seconds 35-27.
