Christine M. (Deltinto) Grey (1963-2025)

Christine M. (Deltinto) Grey, 62, of New Brighton, passed away on July 1st, 2025 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.

She was born in New Brighton on April 21st, 1963, a daughter of the late Francesco Deltinto and Carol (Blake) Dye. In addition to parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 43 years, Richard Carlton Grey, Sr. She is survived by her three children, Richard (Stephanie) Grey Jr., Micheal (Stacie) Grey and Sharie (Kurtis Sniezek) Grey, nine grandchildren: Skylar Grey, Jordyn Grey, Michael Grey, Madison Grey, Mackenzie Grey, Austin Sniezek, Savannah Sniezek, Brooke Sniezek and Scarlett Sniezek; as well as a brother, Bruce (April) Dye, a sister, Susan (Rob Dietz) Deltinto, her special friends, Dorothy, Lisa and Janice, along with several nieces and nephews.

Christine found enjoyment in her life cooking and baking for her entire family. She loved going on adventures with her grandchildren and adored visiting Erie and Ocean City, where she found a love for their steak sandwiches.

All services for Christine were private. The GABAUER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, Inc., 1133 Penn Avenue, New Brighton, was honored to care for Christine and her family during this most difficult time and was in charge of her arrangements.

Debra Lynn (Householder) Brown (1971-2025)

Debra Lynn (Householder) Brown, 54, passed away on June 23rd, 2025. She was born in Beaver Falls on January 13th, 1971, a daughter of Linda (Bork) Shultz (Daniel) and the late Dale Householder (Martha). In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her maternal Grandparents, Robert and Lillian Bork, her paternal grandparents, Lawrance and Hazel Householder and her in-laws, Carl Sr. and Karen Brown. She is survived by her husband Carl Brown Jr., five children: Aryana Harris (Cary), Craig Harris (Jasmine), Carly Weckerly (Michael), Abigail Brown (Aaron) and Carl Brown lll (Brooke); as well as her sister, Danielle Matta, her Godchild, Joey Matta, her ten loving grandchildren: Jasir, Vondre, Jamari, Raelynn, Ava, Jasson, Kaiden, Karson, Avery and Alina. Debbie will be always remembered for her Big Heart. She was such a joy to be around and she loved playing Bingo. It always put a smile on her face gathering all of her family in one place. She was the glue that brought her children and grandchildren together and words can’t express how much she will be missed. The Family respects Debra’s wishes that no service will take place. However, a celebration of her life with the cherished moments with a Memorial Service for Debra to be held at a later date. Janet Louise Krawchyk (1935-2025)

Janet Louise Krawchyk, 90, of Columbiana, Ohio, passed away on June 30th, 2025 at Masternick Memorial in New Middletown, Ohio.

She was born in Beaver Falls on April 3rd, 1935, the daughter of the late Hiram Donald and Agnes Jane (Douglas) Weaver. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Frank Krawchyk and her brother, Clifford Weaver. She is survived by her children, Frank (Patricia Jones) Krawchyk Jr., Julie Ann (Leonard Rohde) McClain and Linda (Robert) Dewell, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, her brother, Richard (Leona) Weaver and several nieces and nephews.

Janet was a homemaker who enjoyed family gatherings, camping, traveling. She also never skipped eating ice cream.

All services for Janet were private. Janet will be greatly missed and her family would like to thank the staff at both Masternick Memorial and Akeso Hospice.

Hilda M. Kenny (1943-2025)

Hilda M. Kenny, 81, of Zelienople, formerly of Economy Borough, passed away on June 27th, 2025 at her residence in Passavant Community Center. She was born in New Brighton on December 19th, 1943, a daughter of the late Charles H. and Helen Householder Young.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Mae Harter. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Joseph Raymond “Ray” Kenny, one son, Scott Raymond Kenny of Remsen, New York and one daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Todd Winters of Economy Borough, five grandchildren: Barbara, Katie and her husband Joseph, Megan and her husband James and Ethan and Nikolas and his companion Ariana; as well as six great-grandchildren: William, Savannah, Vincent, Holland, Isabella and Harrison, along with two brothers and sisters-in-law, Clair and Beverly Young of Darlington and Gary and Judy Young of Washington, Pennsylvania and several nieces and nephews. Hilda was a retired co-owner and operator of the Kenny Farm in Economy Borough and was a former employee with Diamond Milling Company in New Brighton She was also a former member of the Concord Presbyterian Church in Economy Borough. Friends will be received on Wednesday, July 2nd from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. in the William Murphy Funeral Home, Inc., 349 Adams Street, Rochester, where services will be held on Thursday, July 3rd at 11 A.M. Officiating will be Rev. Lee Bittner. Private interment will be in St. John’s Burry’s Church Cemetery, 1835 PA-68, Rochester. The family wishes memorial contributions be made to the Passavant Community Center, 105 Burgess Drive, Zelienople, PA 16063.

Sally Ann Casanova (1944-2025)

Sally Ann Casanova, 81, of Freedom, formerly of Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on June 29th, 2025. She was born on June 6th, 1944, a daughter of the late Gerard Casanova and Florence Casanova-Dougherty. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, James W. Dougherty, her brothers, Eugene and James Casanova and her uncle, Robert L. Schor. She is survived by her sister, Sandra Casanova, and her longtime friend, Joyce Smith.

Sally dedicated her career to working as a legal secretary and also spent time in the banking industry. Throughout her life, she lived in many places, including California, Portland, Oregon, Honolulu, Hawaii, Delray Beach, Florida. She eventually made her home in Freedom, Pennsylvania. She was an active and energetic spirit who enjoyed spending time at the gym and participating in various fitness activities.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date to honor the memory of Sally.

Alfred R. Heibert (1962-2025)

Alfred R. Heibert, age 62, of Irwin, Pennsylvania, formerly of Rochester Township, passed away on June 26th, 2025 in the Kadima Facility in Irwin, Pennsylvania. He was born in Sewickley on November 26th, 1962, the son of the late Alfred B. Heibert and Carol Ann Zellefrow Fuss. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Ray Fuss. He is survived by three sisters and brothers-in-law, Valeria Ann and William Edmondson of Indiana, Pennsylvania, Brenda Sue and Marvin Conkle of Newport Richey, Florida and Carla Dee and Kevin McCue of Holidaysburg, Pennsylvania and one brother and sister-in-law, James D. and Filiz Heibert of Berlin, Germany and numerous nieces and nephews. Alfred was formerly employed by Taco Bell in Monaca and was a retired member of the Rochester Township Volunteer Fire Department. Alfred’s wishes were to be cremated. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, 273 PA-68, Rochester. Arrangements have been entrusted to the William Murphy Funeral Home, Inc., 349 Adams Street, Rochester.

Scott A. Shaffer (1958-2025)

Scott A. Shaffer, 66, of New Sewickley Township, passed away on June 30th, 2025 at his residence. He was born in New Brighton on September 28th, 1958, a son of the late Robert E. and Helen Glass Shaffer.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Erin Shaffer, one sister, Connie Spratt and a brother, Robert Shaffer. He is survived by his long-time companion, Janise M. McDanel Medaglia, one son and daughter-in-law, Zachary and Brandea Shaffer of Bessemer, Pennsylvania, and six grandchildren: Grace, Riley, Zachary, Carter, Malakai and Nathan; as well as his stepson, Michael Shreve and his wife Kathleen of North Sewickley Township, one sister and brother-in-law, Lynn and Mark Lessig of Michigan, one brother and sister-in-law, Howard and Marsha Shaffer of Conneaut, Pennsylvania and numerous nieces and nephews. Scott was a retired mechanic with the former Oxbow Enterprise Company.  Scott’s wish was to be cremated. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the William Murphy Funeral Home, Inc., 349 Adams Street, Rochester.

Thomas R. Gaona, Sr. (1938-2025)

Thomas R. Gaona, Sr., 87, of Ambridge, passed away on June 26th, 2025, in Providence Health and Rehab Center of Beaver Falls.

He was born in Sewickley on March 8th, 1938, the son of the late Jose and Francis Gaona. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Gaona. He is survived by his three sons, Thomas (Debbie) Gaona Jr., Terry (Brenda) Gaona and Troy (Amy) Gaona, his daughter, Kimberly (Donald) Spencer, five grandchildren: Athena (David) Jasinski, Alicia (Willie) Weisser, Ashley Spencer, Tyler (Alexis) Gaona,  Lauren (Trevor) Rapchak and three great grandchildren, Madelyn & Savannah Weisser & Ezra Gaona.

Thomas was a retired employee of J & L Steel Manufacturing.  He was a very hard worker and was a jack of all trades. He could build anything. He also enjoyed relaxing and sipping on Jim Beam.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, July 2nd from 3-7 P.M. in the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc., 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge, where a blessing service will be conducted on Thursday, July 3rd at 10 A.M. Interment will follow in Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery, 1691 Ridge Road Extension, #1601, Ambridge.

Zoanne Elaine Chirico (1960-2025)

Zoanne Elaine Chirico, 65, of Rochester Township, passed away on June 26th, 2025 in Heritage Valley Beaver. She was born in Rochester on March 1st, 1960, a daughter of the late Ralph and Emma Weyand. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Weyand. She is survived by her beloved husband, Dominic Chirico, three children, Chuck (Joanne) Chirico, Chrissy (fiancé Pat Nichol) and Nick (Erin) Chirico, three granddaughters, Kayla (fiancé Ray Cutrona) Porupsky, Zoey Chirico and Isla Chirico, two sisters, Linda (Rich) Stolar and Jean Eckles and numerous nieces and nephews. Zoanne loved to be outside and she always enjoyed camping, fishing, spending time on her pontoon, and riding quads. She also loved animals of all kinds, especially her dogs. Most of all, Zoanne loved her family and hanging out with her granddaughters.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the branch of Huntsman Funeral Home & Cremation Services.

Annette Zoiti (1936-2025)

Annette Zoiti (née Montini), 88, of Hopewell Township, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on June 25th, 2025, at Franciscan Manor in Patterson Township.

She was born in Aliquippa on July 29th, 1936, a daughter of the late Sylvester “Silver” and Adeline “Lena” Montini. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph Zoiti, her parents-in-law, Antonio and Carmela Zoiti, her brother, Anthony Montini, her brother and sister-in-law, Louis and Clara Montini, her sister, Shirley Diecks, her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Nancy and Vince Bozza, her sisters-in-law: Helen Zoiti, Rosie Lulevitch, Frances Dionisio, and Clara Montini; as well as her nephews, Jackie Bozza and Robert Montini and her life-long friend Carol Unis.

She is survived by her son, Anthony (Crystal) Zoiti, her daughter, Sylvia (Tony) Guy, her four grandchildren: Cody Zoiti, Sean Zoiti, Logan Zoiti, and Marissa (Zack) Hayward; as well as her four great-grandchildren: Eli Zoiti, Cooper Hayward, Noah Hayward and Adeline Hayward, her brother, Michael Montini, her brother-in-law, Ronald “Lefty” Dionisio; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Annette was a proud graduate of Aliquippa High School with the Class of 1954. She was the former general manager of The Airport Hotel located at the old Pittsburgh International Airport. Upon “retiring”, she spent over 25 years working at Kaufman’s, then later Macy’s as a sales associate at the Beaver Valley Mall. What started as a retirement job quickly became one of her greatest joys. Annette loved getting to know her customers and took pride in making each person feel welcome and valued.

On November 7th, 1959, Annette married the love of her life, the late Joseph “Weiners” Zoiti. They were blessed with 2 children and built their family on the values of faith and love.

Annette was gifted with the natural ability of being a caretaker. Lovingly referred to by her family as “Dr. Montini”, she had a way of making people feel special, loved and at ease. Taking care of others brought her genuine joy, and she did so with grace and kindness. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Church in Aliquippa, part of Mary, Queen of Saints Parish.

In her free time, Annette enjoyed going to “the track” to play the slots, she was always chasing her big win.

Friends will be received on Monday, June 30th from 1-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. in the GABAUER-TODD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES- 340 Third Street, Beaver, who was in charge of her arrangements. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 1st at 10 a.m. at St. Titus Church, 952 Franklin Avenue, Aliquippa. The family is requesting that everyone meet directly at the church.  Father Howard Campbell will officiate.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Timothy Jackson for the many years of devoted compassion and care for Annette, and the staff at Franciscan Manor for the love and care during her time spent there.
