L. Lorraine Patterson (1932-2025)

L. Lorraine Patterson, 93, of Chippewa Township, passed away on December 23rd, 2025, at Heritage Valley Beaver.

She was born in Beaver Falls on November 27th, 1932, the daughter of the late George and Gertrude (Steiner) Hargett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Donald “Dugan” Patterson, two brothers, Marshall and Capt. David Hargett; and a grandson, Cameron McGowan. She is survived by her children, Doug and JoAnn Patterson and Cathy and Dennis Peoples, four grandchildren, Travis McCowan, Derek and Shelly Patterson, Amber and Brad Andrews, and Krystle Mitchem; as well as nine great-grandchildren: Seth Oliver, Naomi McGowan, Malia and Rayna Patterson, Sydney and Liberty Andrews, and Harper and Rylee Mitchem; along with a step-granddaughter, Kaylee Boring and two sisters-in-law, Mary M. Hargett and Mary E. Hargett.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 17th at 11 a.m. at the Chippewa Alliance Church, 3629 37th Street Extension, Beaver Falls. Arrangements have been entrusted to the branch of Gabauer Funeral Homes.

Faye M. Madison (1946-2025)

Faye M. Madison, 79, of Chippewa Township, passed away peacefully on December 29th, 2025, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Beaver Falls on December 13th, 1946, a daughter of the late Roscoe and Grace (Richeal) Freed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ivy, and her brother, Harley. She is survived by her children, Rebecca (Chris) Lindner, Paul Madison, Jr., and Steven (Heather) Madison, her grandchildren: Dylan, Nicole, Kayla (Franklin), Christopher (Kyla), Jeffrie (Melanie), Melissa, Paul, and Bobbi; as well as ten great-grandchildren, her siblings: Carol, Ruth, Pam (George), Millie (Howard), Bev (Ron), Roscoe (Dawn), and Louis (Carolyn); along with her former husband and dear friend, Paul Madison, Sr., as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Faye devoted many years of her life to caring for others through her work as a caregiver, a role that reflected her compassionate and generous spirit. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling, taking trips with her sisters, being outside in the summer months, walking on the boardwalk at any beach, a good, or sometimes not-so-good, day at the casino, and most of all, spending cherished time with her grandchildren and family.

Friends will be received on Monday, January 5th, from 1–3 P.M. and 5–7 P.M., with a brief celebrant service following visitation at GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 117 Blackhawk Road, Beaver Falls, who was in charge of her arrangements.

Interment will be private at Grandview Cemetery, 139 Norwood Drive, Beaver Falls.

Debra L. See (1957-2025)

Debra L. See, 68, of Rochester, passed away surrounded by her family at AHN West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh on December 29th, 2025. She was born on July 3rd, 1957, a daughter of Helen (Herb) Corey and the late Albert Jurysta. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her three children, Danielle Jackson, Tonya (James Roman) Johnston and Shannon See, her sisters, Rebecca Cable, Brenda (Dennis) Palmer, and Lisa (Paul) Guerrera, her grandchildren: Burton (McKenzie) Jackson, Shanna Jackson, James Roman Jr. and Scarlett Roman, one great-grandchild, Lucas, three very special friends, Dr. David Thimons, Dr. Jared Stragand, and Kevin Kravetsky, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Debra dedicated 48 years of her life to working at Brighton Rehabilitation and Wellness Center, a place that became more than a workplace. It was where her compassion, work ethic, and heart shined every single day. Her commitment and loyalty spoke volumes about the kind of person she was: dependable, selfless, and endlessly giving. He was a kind soul in every sense. She was honest, loving, and carried herself with quiet strength. She believed no one should every go hungry. Everybody was fed, often without being asked, simply because that is who she was. Known as a mother to all, she nurtured not only her own loved ones but anyone who crossed her path. She worked hard her entire life, never shying away from responsibility, and always put others before herself. Her generosity knew no limits, and her love was unconditional. Her presence brought comfort, her laughter brought light, and her legacy lives on in the countless lives she touched through her care, kindness, and unwavering heart.

Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, January 6th, from 2-6 P.M. with a blessing service following, at the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, Inc., 1612 3rd Avenue, New Brighton, who was in charge of her arrangements.

Pamela Ann Engle (1947-2025)

Pamela Ann Engle, 78, of Beaver Falls, passed away on December 30th, 2025, at Concordia at Villa St. Joseph in Baden. She was born on August 4th, 1947, the daughter of the late John and Jane Falen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George “Bud” Engle. She is survived by her children: Mark Engle, Shannon (David) King, Gretchen (Robert) Lusk, Natalie (Sean) Cekovich; as well as her grandchildren: Veronica King, Alexander, Benjamin, Abigail and Sophia Salas, Jackson, Maria and Anthony Cekovich, Samuel, Ryan and Charlie Lusk; along with her brother, Richard (Laura) Falen and many nieces and nephews.

Pamela was Catholic by faith and was a longtime member of St. Augustine Parish. Over the course of 32 years, she and her husband opened their home to foster 78 infants and children, working for various Beaver and Allegheny County agencies.  There will be a visitation on Sunday, January 4th, from 2-6 p.m. at Corless-Kunselman Funeral Services, LLC, 3801 4th Avenue, Beaver Falls, who was in charge of her arrangements, and where prayers will be offered on Monday, January 5th at 9 a.m. followed by a procession to a Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Monica Catholic Church, 116 Thorndale Drive, Beaver Falls. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 2927 Clayton Road, Beaver Falls. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the staff at Villa St. Joseph Personal Care Home for their care and compassion. Edward (Ed) White (1955-2025)

Edward (Ed) White, 70, formerly of Beaver Falls, passed away unexpectedly at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh on December 27th, 2025.

He was born in Beaver Falls on July 15th, 1955, a son of the late Andrew and Evelyn White. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jim White. He is survived by his siblings: Dennis (Kathy) White, Marilyn White, Barbara Jean (Ken) Graeser, Donna Marie (Jose) Johnson, Daniel (Karla) White, and Patricia (Chris) Cahalan and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Edward graduated from Beaver Falls High School in 1973. He was the epitome of the self-made man. He began his working career with Babcock and Wilcox in Koppel, working as a Crane Operator. He later enrolled at Youngstown State University (YSU). Through hard work and perseverance, he financed his own college education and graduated from YSU with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. Following graduation, he continued his studies and attained the prestigious professional designation of Professional Engineer. He settled in the Columbus Ohio area (Grove City, Ohio) and went on to develop a highly successful career in civil engineering with a specific focus on bridge and roadway design. He worked for multiple engineering firms in the Columbus area, serving as Engineering Lead on many projects. Outside of work, he found pleasure in visiting his family and friends in Beaver County. Known for his caring manner, gentle disposition and his witty sense of humor, he was a hero to his many nieces and nephews, and his visits were eagerly anticipated and enjoyed. He was a committed outdoorsman, especially enjoying kayaking, fishing and archery.  Consistent with his love of nature, he had acquired a hunting/fishing camp near the Allegheny National Forest and had recently busied himself with the camp’s restoration. He will be remembered as a generous and loyal son and brother and a treasured uncle to his nieces and nephews. He had a special way of making family feel extra loved and he had a rare gift for connecting with people, making friends wherever he went. He was a man of great faith and a patriot with a special appreciation for the members of our armed forces.

A Memorial Mass is planned for Saturday, January 3rd, at 10 a.m. at Saint Monica Catholic Church, 116 Thorndale Drive, Beaver Falls. Interment will be private. A Celebration of Life will be planned for a later date.

Charlotte M. “Charlie” Coley (1948-2025)

Charlotte M. “Charlie” Coley, 77, of Rochester Township, passed away on December 30th, 2025 at her home. She was born in Beaver Falls on August 21st, 1948, a daughter of the late George Engle and Nataline White. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Raymond Frazzini, two sisters, Nancy Cordes and Patricia Barrett, and a nephew, Brian Stelter. She is survived by three sons, Tony O. Frazzini of New Brighton, Joseph A. Frazzini of Rochester and Dean A. Frazzini and his girlfriend, Bre Berryman of Wintersville, Ohio, two beloved grandchildren, Dean A. Frazzini Jr. and his fiancé, Sammi Patroski and Devyn Frazzini, numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren, three nieces, Chrissy D. Kirby, Billie Jo Smith and Heather R. Ruiz, one nephew, Rick Cordes, numerous other nieces and nephews, and a former daughter-in-law, Beth Frazzini. Charlotte was a retired bartender with the Rochester V.F.W. Post 128 and the former Rochester Township Fireman’s Club. She was Methodist by faith and a member of the Rochester V.F.W. Post 128 Ladies Auxiliary. She is also survived by her companion, Charles E. Frank, of Rochester Township, who gave love and comfort to her for many years. Charlotte’s wishes were to be cremated with no visitation or service. Arrangements have been entrusted to the William Murphy Funeral Home, Inc., 349 Adams Street, Rochester. The family wishes memorial contributions be made to St. Judes Children Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. The family gives special thanks to Roseann Frank and the nurses with Vitas Hospice for the care and comfort given to Charlie.

Helen Lucille Schaub (1932-2025)

Helen Lucille Schaub, 93, of Beaver, passed away on December 29th, 2025 at Providence Health and Rehabilitation Center in Beaver Falls.
She was born in Pittsburgh on August 11th, 1932, a daughter of the late Blaine and Mary (Herrington) Rush. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband who she was married to since 1953, Clifford Schaub, her sons, Mark Schaub and Tim Schaub, her infant son, David Schaub, her daughter, Cheryl Kaercher and her grandson, David Schaub. She is survived by one sister, Joy (Tom) Hughes, three of her children, Phillip (Lori) Schaub, Michael Schaub, and Susan (Bob) Mayle, her daughter-in-law, Veronica Schaub, eight grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Helen was a resident of Beaver since 1979. She was a very active and devoted member of the First Christian Church in Beaver. Helen married Clifford Schaub in 1953. They were on the mission field in Africa and Canada. They were also a part of ministries in Indiana, Florida, and Pennsylvania (Beaver). Helen was a child caregiver for numerous children throughout the years.
All services for Helen were private. However, a memorial service will be announced by her family at a later date. The GABAUER-TODD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, Inc., 340 Third Street Beaver, PA 15009, was honored to care for Helen and her family during this most difficult time and was the funeral home that was in charge of her arrangements.

Dennis “Denny” J. Gilchrist II (1973-2025)

Dennis “Denny” J. Gilchrist II, 52, of Raccoon Township, passed away on December 25th, 2025. He was born on July 22nd, 1973, the beloved son of Deborah and Dennis J. Gilchrist. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Connor Gilchrist, his daughter, Raven Giedl, his sister, Heather (Bill) Dano, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, and many cherished friends.

Dennis was a graduate of Hopewell High School who had a lifelong passion for music in all forms. He loved animals and was known for his wild, fun-loving personality that lit up every room he entered. He was charismatic, full of life and left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He also enjoyed gardening, cooking, and above all, deeply loved his family.

A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, January 5th, from 3 P.M. until the time of the funeral service at 7 P.M. at Alvarez-Hahn Funeral Services and Cremation, LLC 547 8th Street, Ambridge, who was in charge of his arrangements.

Donald M. Domitrovich (Passed on December 17th, 2025)

Donald M. Domitrovich, 88, of Hopewell Township, passed away on December 17th, 2025, at Heritage Valley Beaver. He was born in Farmington, West Virginia and was the husband of Helen Domitrovich of Monaca. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Virginia “Virgie” Mackey Domitrovich and was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He was also preceded in death by his three sisters, Tootsie (William “Sy”) Simon, Annabelle (Harry) Miller and Norma (Paul) Belich and a brother, Joseph Domitrovich, Jr. He is survived by two sons, Joseph Domitrovich of Monaca and James (Lorraine) Domitrovich of Chippewa. He was a proud grandfather to six grandchildren: Sonya (Richie) Hewitt of Rochester, Crystal (Ian) Livingston of Monaca, Faith Domitrovich (Scotty Hinzy) of Rochester, Amber (Andrew) Moody of Renfrew, Erin Domitrovich of Baden, and James Domitrovich, Jr of Monaca; as well as his four step grandchildren: Ryan Joseph, Branden Lang, Michael George and Frank George, Jr.; along with eighteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild, two nieces and one nephew.

For 43 years, Donald applied his skill and dedication as a heavy equipment operator for Hopewell Township. He was a skilled mechanic and autobody man and was a car enthusiast who cherished the times he spent cruising in his prized ’72 Dodge Charger. His strong work ethic was not only evident in his professional life, but was also a valuable lesson he imparted to his family.

Beyond his work, he had a variety of interests that brought joy to his life and those around him. He was known for his hat collection, each one with its own story and memory attached. He was also a fan of old cowboy movies, he could often be found watching the adventures of the Wild West from the comfort of his living room. In the garden, his green thumb was legendary, especially for the best tomatoes that anyone could hope to taste. His family and friends will miss the tales he told, each one a piece of the rich tapestry of his life’s experiences.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 3rd at 3 p.m. at the Wright Field House in Chippewa. Arrangements have been entrusted to Simpson Funeral and Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca.

William S. Rubinosky (Passed on December 27th, 2025)

William S. Rubinosky, 70, passed away peacefully on December 27th, 2025, at his residence in New Brighton. He was born in Pittsburgh and was raised in the West End Overlook section of Pittsburgh. He was a son of Frank S. and Josephine Regan Rubinosky and he and his late wife Susan were blessed with four children: Shawn (Mary) Haney, Brian (Ashley) Haney, Laura Rubinosky, and Stephen (Giovanna) Rubinosky. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Aaron, Caleb, Isaiah, and Emma. In addition to his children and grandchildren, he leaves behind three siblings: Doris Stefanic, Robert Rubinosky, and Karen Kostelnik.

Following his graduation from Bishop Canevin High School, William served in the U S Army during the Vietnam War. Driven by a lifelong passion for helping others, returned to academia later in life to earn an associate degree in Respiratory Therapy. His work ethic and talent were evident early on when he showcased his culinary skills as a chef at the Top of the Triangle Restaurant in Pittsburgh. His career path later led him to Davey’s Tree Service, where his hard work and dedication were equally apparent. However, it was his role as a respiratory therapist at Heritage Valley Beaver that reflected the heart of a man committed to caring for others. He found solace and inspiration in the fellowship of Wildwood Chapel in Aliquippa and the teachings of internet Preacher Daryl Lawson and his love of Jesus. He was also an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and music held a special place in his heart.

Friends will be received on Saturday, January 3rd from 1 p.m. until the time of a service at 3 p.m. at SIMPSON FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca, who was in charge of his arrangements. Interment will then take place with military honors at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, 1158 Morgan Road, Bridgeville.
