Lynnette “Lynn” Brown (1941-2025)

Lynnette “Lynn” Brown, 84, formerly of Zelienople, passed away on October 20th, 2025. She was born on August 29th, 1941, the daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Adams.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Lisa, her brothers, Tom, Norman, James and Vaughn Adams; as well as her former husband, Barry Brown. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Terri (Jerry) Testa of Moon and two grandchildren: Jennifer (Matthew) Testa Lehane and Anthony Testa as well as her sister-in-law, Darlene Adams and several nieces and nephews.

Lynn found joy in playing the slots at The Meadows Casino in Washington, Pennsylvania, finding secret deals at Dollar Tree, thrifting and spending time with her family. She worked for 35 years serving as a Medical Technician at Sherwood Oaks in Cranberry Township. She will be fondly remembered for taking her “ciggie” breaks, playing cards and slots and feisty spirit. She was well-known at the Zelienople convenience stores for her coffee and cigarette fix. She will be greatly missed by her daughter and her family and friends.

The burial of Lynnette will be private. Services and arrangements are entrusted to Alvarez-Hahn Funeral Services and Cremation, LLC, 547 8th Street, Ambridge.

Arlo D. Bricker (October 15th, 2025-October 15th, 2025)

Arlo D. Bricker was born on October 15th, 2025, which was also the day that he passed away. This newborn boy was the son of Thomas and Brianna Bricker. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his paternal grandparents, Ron Bricker and Jessica Kimla, his maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Kravocheck and his aunts: Holly Bricker, Jaden Warner, Aaron Warner, Sara (J.P.) Pepple, Maggie Kravocheck, and Lexie Bricker.

Though Arlo’s time with was short, his memory will live eternally in the hearts of his family.

Margaret R. Miller (Passed on October 15th, 2025)

Margaret R. Miller, 92, formerly of Rochester Township, passed away peacefully on October 15th, 2025 at Cambridge Village in Beaver Falls.

She was born in Monaca, a daughter of the late Nathan and Margaret Chleba Paliotte, as the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her parents and all of her siblings, including her twin sister, Sister Mary Margaret Paliotte and her brothers Bill, Robert, August “Gus” and Paul Paliotte as well as her sister, Catherine Haney, her beloved husband, Howard E. “Bud” Miller, with whom she shared a blessed union starting in April 11th, 1953, at St John the Baptist Catholic Church in Monaca, her infant daughter, Barbara Ann Miller and her daughter, Janet M Miller.

She is survived through her three sons, Thomas E (Cindy) Miller, Howard E. III (Carrie) Miller and David (Gaylen) Miller. She was a proud grandmother to five grandchildren and a doting great grandmother to six great -grandchildren. She was raised in Monaca and was a graduate of Mt. Gallitzin Academy in Baden. She was a dedicated employee of Rosalind Candy Castle in New Brighton where she was employed as a clerk and packer.

She was a devout member of Our Lady of the Valley Parish and St Cecilia Catholic Church in Rochester. She was also an active participant in the Christian Mothers of the  church. Her faith was evident in her kindness and the way she lived her life. She was an avid lover of the outdoors who had a “green thumb,” which was evident in her beautifully kept flower garden and well cared for lawn.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, Oct 22nd from 9 a.m. until the time of a mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m.at St Cecilia Catholic Church, 632 Virginia Avenue, Rochester. Interment will take place at St John the Baptist Cemetery, 1270 Chapel Road, Monaca at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Simpson Funeral and Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Allie D. Kennedy (1955-2025)

Allie D. Kennedy, 70, of Koppel, was reunited with the love of her life, on October 18th, 2025 at her daughter’s residence in Brighton Township.

She was born on July 30th, 1955, a daughter of the late Ernest Sr. and Virginia (Mahana) Price. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, Allen “Rock” Kennedy, her brother, Ernest “Bub” Price, Jr., a sister, Elma Gillingham, a brother-in-law, Sonny Lambert and her in-laws, Garnet and Gaston Kennedy. She is survived by her daughters, Crystal (Jason) Stoyanoff and Kimberly (John) Stahl; her grandchildren, Alexis Stahl and Jake Stoyanoff, her sisters, Regina Lavalle and Stella Lambert, her best friend and sister, Florence “Flo” Fleeson, her half-brother, Shawn Price and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Allie had worked as a housekeeper at Heritage Valley Beaver for many years. She was devoted to her family, and her grandchildren were her pride and joy. In her free time, she enjoyed watching holiday baking shows.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, October 22nd from 2-4 P.M. & 6-8 P.M. in the GABAUER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 1133 Penn Avenue, New Brighton, who was in charge of her arrangements, and where a brief celebrant service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd at 11 A.M.

Interment will be private in Grandview Cemetery, 139 Norwood Drive, Beaver Falls.

Gelindo “Lindy” Malignani (1928-2025)

Gelindo “Lindy” Malignani, 97, of Ohioville, passed away peacefully at home on October 16th, 2025. He was born in New Wilmington, Pennsylvania on August 8th, 1928, a son of the late Pietro and Gisella Malignani. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marie, his brother, Anthony and his great-grandson, Donovan Hoegle. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Katie Malignani of Ohioville, his daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Jack Packard of Pittsburgh, three grandchildren, Aaron (Melissa) Malignani, Christina (Logan Mobley) Malignani, and Dana Moran, nine great-grandchildren, Julian and Dorian Hoegle, Presley, Phoenyx, and Cypress Mobley, and Landon, Lila, Laiken, and Alexis Moran; special friend, Toni Vassallo; as well as numerous cousins.

Gelindo had been a resident of Ohioville for nearly 80 years. He was a proud United States Army Veteran, having served during the Korean War, and was awarded a Purple Heart. Lindy was a volunteer fireman for Ohioville Boro, a part-time Ohioville police officer, as well as a Beaver County Sheriff Deputy. He enjoyed making homemade wine, stained glass, an excellent vegetable gardener, and a master of fixing everything, having built all three family homes. Lindy will be remembered for his generosity and his never-ending love for his family.

Cyril A. Jurkowski, Jr. (1951-2025)

Cyril Allen Jurkowski, Jr., 74, of Ambridge, passed away at home on October 16th, 2025. He was born on January 27th, 1951, a son of the late Cyril Sr. and Sabina Jurkowski. He is survived by his brother, Thomas Jurkowski and his niece, Valerie Malack.

Cyril was a graduate of Ambridge Area High School and went on to attend Penn State University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree. He worked as an accountant for S.R. Snodgrass Public Accountants, Mount Gallitzin Academy and the Beaver County YMCA. He was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan who loved cheering on the Penguins, Pirates and Steelers.

Grace C. Kibler (1934-2025)

Grace C. Kibler, 91, of New Brighton, passed away peacefully on October 16th, 2025.

She was born in Aitch, Pennsylvania on July 15th, 1934, the daughter of the late Irene Rook and Floyd R. Getic. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glen B. Kibler Sr., as well as her two sons, John E. Kibler and Bob Getic. She is survived by her three sons, Robert (Leandrea) Kibler, Glen (Barb) Kibler Jr. and Dale (Deborah Nicholson) Kibler, her brother, Don Getic, her grandchildren: Shane, Stephanie, Anne, Ashley, Bobby, Brandon, Dale Jr.; as well as her great-grandchildren, Nico, Lance, Derek and Camilla.

Grace was a dedicated mother who also loved her family. She dedicated 20 years of her life to caring for others as a personal nurse at Cambridge Village in Beaver Falls, where her kindness, patience, and compassion touched countless lives. Those who knew her admired her unwavering dedication to the people she served. Outside of her work, Grace found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved spending time with her family, who were the heart of everything she did. Whether she was reading a good book, solving a puzzle, or sharing a laugh, Grace’s gentle spirit made every moment special. Grace will be remembered for her selflessness, her love, and the comfort she brought to those around her. Her legacy of care and love lives on in the family and friends who were lucky enough to know her.

No formal services will be held. A private burial will take place at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, 273 PA-68, Rochester. Arrangements have been entrusted to the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Avenue, New Brighton.

Sarah Jean (Hilfinger) Green (1948-2025)

Sarah Jean (Hilfinger) Green, 77, of Brighton Township, who was more commonly known as Sally, passed away on October 14th, 2025 at Heritage Valley Beaver.

She was born on August 23rd, 1948, the daughter of the late Jack and Fran Hilfinger. She is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years, Mitchel J. Green of Brighton Township, one daughter, Jessica E. Green of Tromsø Norway, one granddaughter, Ella Isabel Johnsen of Tromsø, Norway and one brother, Jack Hilfinger II of Brighton Township.

Sarah spent her childhood and adolescence growing up on a farm in Brighton Township. She was head majorette for her high school marching band, of which she was very proud. She moved to Philadelphia after high school to attend nursing school at Einstein Southern Hospital where she received her degree in registered nursing (RN). In 1988, she moved back to Brighton Township with her Philadelphia-born husband and 5-year-old daughter. She worked for many years at the Beaver Medical Center (Heritage Valley Beaver) in a variety of nursing roles, including in the OB ward helping to deliver babies. The final years of her career were spent as an IV therapist, and she was known to be especially talented in this position. Her number one passion in life was cooking. Family members and friends will remember her fondly for her excellent, restaurant-quality meals and discerning palette. She was also a huge film and series buff and enjoyed reading thrillers and mysteries.

A visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Noll Funeral Home Inc., 333 Third Street, Beaver, who was in charge of her arrangements.

Mary Elisebeth Tuttle (1948-2025)

Mary Elisebeth Tuttle, 77, of Beaver Falls, passed away on October 10th, 2025, in Providence Health and Rehabiliation Center in Beaver Falls.

She was born in East Liverpool, Ohio on May 9th, 1948, a daughter of the late James and Dorothy (Scott) Gillespie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Orville Tuttle and a son, Jeff Fogg.

Mary is survived by her children, Clinton (Jessica) Gillespie, Thomas Fogg and Virginia (Martin) Baker, her grandchildren, Brandon, Destiny, and Paris, her siblings, Sam Gillespie, Bill Gillespie, John Gillespie and Judith Ann (Michael) Mushing and a nephew, Michael Mushing.

In accordance with Mary’s wishes, there will be no public visitation.

Brent J. Lambert (1977-2025)

Brent J. Lambert, 48, of New Brighton, passed away on October 13th, 2025.

He was born on Rochester on February 10th, 1977, the son of Boyd Lambert and Kristen Wargo Lambert. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Kenneth Lambert, and his maternal grandparents, Ernest and Jackie Wargo. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his beloved children, Liza, Lex, and Luke Lambert, his brothers and sisters-in-law, Dwight and Erin Lambert, and Weston and Jessica Lambert, his paternal grandmother, Odette Lambert, his former wife, Stacie Liberty and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family who loved him dearly.

Brent was a proud graduate of New Brighton High School with their Class of 1995. He went on to attend Penn State University, where he earned a degree in Agriculture and made his mark on the rugby field. He was a key contributor to Penn State’s nationally ranked rugby team who was admired by teammates for his athleticism, leadership, faith and character.

After college, Brent pursued his lifelong love of working the land, proudly hosting his well-known “Farm Tours,” which earned him the affectionate nickname, “Farmer Brent.” He approached farming with passion and purpose, blending hard work with humor and a knack for bringing people together. He was a true jack-of-all-trades who operated his own hauling business and was known across the county for his skill in appliance repair and his willingness to lend a hand. Whether it was fixing a refrigerator, hauling a load, or tending his fields, he did it all with humility, integrity, and pride.

Those who knew Brent remember a man of deep faith, quiet conviction, and steady grit, sometimes a bit stubborn, always a man with a plan and someone who valued hard work and doing things right. He found peace in nature, strength in his faith, and purpose in the way he lived each day. Beneath his strong exterior was a heart that felt deeply for his family and friends, even when words didn’t come easily.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, October 18th, from 2 p.m. until the time of service at 3:30 p.m. at the J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 Third Avenue, New Brighton, who was in charge of his arrangements.
