Stacy Lyn Bailey (1971-2025)

Stacy Lyn Bailey, 53, of South Beaver Township, passed away on March 26th, 2025 with her mom and sister by her side.

Stacy was born prematurely with cerebral palsy on August 30th, 1971, but she never let that keep her down.

Stacy attended Easter Seal and New Horizon Schools starting at 18 months old and eventually went to Blackhawk High School, where she graduated. She had a love for her family, animals, music, kids, The Sound of Music, and Kenny Chesney. She married the love of her life, Gregg Bailey, in September of 1996. She left this earth the same way that she came in, with her own feisty spirit.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her dad, Dave “Doc” Dougherty, her grandparents and numerous aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her mother, Eleanor Dougherty of Chippewa Township, her sister, Tina (John) Foster of South Beaver Township, her brother, Anthony (Missy) Dougherty of McKees Rocks, two nephews, David Nicholson of Chippewa Township and Ryder Dougherty of McKees Rocks, a niece, Ella Dougherty of McKees Rocks, a great-nephew, Isaac Nicholson of Chippewa Township, a special cousin, Sherry (Dan) Weber-Williams of Rogers, Ohio, along with numerous other cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Friends will be received on Monday, March 31st from 5 P.M. until the time of services at 7 P.M. in the Gabauer-Lutton Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 117 Blackhawk Road, Beaver Falls.

A special thanks from the family are given to Jessica and Jessica from Gateway Hospice for allowing the family to know Stacy was in good hands.

Some extra special thanks are given to Anna, Tammy, Kate, Pat, and Shirley for treating Stacy like family because that’s what you were to her and her family; your love will never be forgotten.

Frank Milton Smith (1936-2025)

Frank Milton Smith, 88, of New Brighton, passed away on March 24th, 2025 at Hospice House in Poland, Ohio.

He was born in Midland on November 8th, 1936, a son of the late Leslie and Ada (Atkins) Smith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Caroline (Boso) Smith, brothers, Fred, Carl, and Augustus (Lillian) Smith and sisters, Elvie (Bill) Davison, Phoebe (Bud), Helena (Frankie) and Elma. He is survived by his children, Kelvin Smith and Gail (Russell) Davis, grandchildren, Russell (Shana) Davis Jr., Justin Davis, Joshua Davis and Ashley (Mike) Gable, great-grandchildren, Gavin, Travis, Ben, Henry and Evi, a brother, Donald Smith, along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Frank had a career as a steel worker at a mill and was a member of Grace Methodist Church in New Brighton. He found enjoyment in life by hunting and fishing.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 28th at 2 P.M. by Rev. Gary Hilton at Grandview Cemetery, 139 Norwood Drive, Beaver Falls.

Edith Gertrude Kronk (1943-2025)

Edith Gertrude Good Kronk, 81, passed away on March 20th, 2025. She was born on August 14, 1943 and grew up in Baden before marrying the love of her life, Robert G. Kronk II. Together they shared a life filled with love, joy and memories that will forever live on. Edith is survived by her two daughters, Robin (John) Delach and Rosalyn (Chris) Mann and a very special foster daughter, Deborah (Craig) Custard. Edith was a grandmother to four grandchildren, Jackalyn (Josiah) Kovac, John Robert (Alecia) Delach, Jason Delach and Lily Mann, as well as a great-grandmother to Tanner Delach, Guinevere and Liam Kovac. She is also survived by her brother, John (Cathy) Good, her brother-in-law, Jim (Kim) Kronk and her sister-in-law, Christine Kronk. Edith loved her many nieces, nephews and cousins, all of whom will remember her fondly. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert G. Kronk II, her parents, LeRoy Good and Gertrude Hoffman, her in-laws, Robert and Sue Kronk, her brother, Clark Good, her brother-in-law, Rev. Ronald Kronk and sister-in-law, JoLynn Kronk. Edith is now reunited with those she loved and who had gone before her. Edith was an active volunteer at several local churches throughout her life including New Sewickley Presbyterian Church and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Baden. She was a proud supporter of local music and theater productions at Freedom Area High School and enjoyed the various shows that included the talents of family and family friends over the past several decades. In her quiet time, you could find Edith reading a book or tending to her “pretty posies” outside her home. She loved teaching and enjoyed sharing the word of the Lord through numerous Sunday School classes. Edith filled her life with love and music and shared that with her family. She touched the lives of so many and will be remembered by all who knew her. A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at New Hope Lutheran Church in Economy Borough on Saturday, March 29th. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New Hope Scholarship Fund, 200 Second Avenue, Freedom, PA 15042 in her honor, a cause close to her heart. Roberta J. (Grahek) Wilson (1951-2025)

Roberta J. (Grahek) Wilson, 73, of Pulaski Township, passed away at home on March 25th, 2025 surrounded by her family.

She was born in Beaver Falls on April 13th, 1951, a daughter of the late Philip and Helen (Bellan) Grahek, Sr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Wilson. She is survived by her children, Lisa Hutchinson (Nathan) of New Brighton and Michelle Botelho (Mike) of Barrington, Rhode Island, her grandchildren: Keaton Hutchinson (Claudia Suica) and Gavin Hutchinson of New Brighton, Troy, Lucius and Helena Botelho of Barrington, Rhode Island; her sister, Phyllis Heckman (Tom) of Monaca, her brother, Philip Grahek, Jr. (Rose) of New Brighton, her nieces and nephews, Sara J.  Heckman of Monaca, Sam, Zachary and Jesse Grahek of New Brighton, along with many extended family members, friends and loved ones.

Roberta was a 1969 Graduate of New Brighton High School.  She retired from the Beaver County Assistance Office in 2011, where she worked in the clerical department. She was a member of St. Cecilia Church of Rochester, Our Lady of the Valley Parish, St. Frances Cabrini Church of Aliquippa and Mary, Queen of Saints Parish. Roberta enjoyed practicing Karate and was very creative and artistic. She also enjoyed many, many wonderful vacations with her family.

Friends and family are welcome to attend a Mass of Christian burial on Monday, March 31st at 12 Noon in St. Frances Cabrini Church, 115 Trinity Drive, Aliquippa.

Inurnment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery of New Brighton, where she will be laid to rest with her husband, John.

The family would like to thank all of those who prayed for Roberta during her illness. A special thanks goes out to the Staff of Good Samaritan Hospice, Carson King, Theresa Engle, and Father Canice McMullen for their love and support during this difficult time.

Margaret Grace (Marchetti) Aurin (1935-2025)

Margaret Grace (Marchetti) Aurin, 89, of Sewickley, passed away on March 24th, 2025 in Good Samaritan Hospice House, Wexford. She was born in Saltsburg, Pennsylvania on June 7th, 1935, the daughter of the late Luigi & Annie (Straka) Marchetti. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Aurin, her daughter, Patricia Thomas and her son, Kenneth Aurin. She is survived by her son-in-law, David Thomas (Dawn) and her three grandchildren, Cara Blyzwick, Afton Thomas-Thangaraj and Matthew Thomas, her three great-grandchildren, Abby, Eli and Zofia and her brother, Dave Marchetti (Carol).

Margaret graduated from Ambridge Area High School and pursued a career as an Administrative Assistant for the VA. She then retired after a distinguished career at the Charles E. Kelly Army base in Oakdale. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking, and baking.

Friends will be received on Friday, March 28th from 6-8 P.M. in the Huntsman Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Moon Township, 1522 Coraopolis Heights Road, where a Funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 29th at 11 A.M. Private interment will take place at Sewickley Cemetery.

Richard Martin Travis (Passed on March 24th, 2025)

Richard Martin Travis, 56 , a longtime Conway resident, passed away on March 24th, 2025, at St. Joseph Warren Hospital in Warren, Ohio, where he had been patient for the past week.

He was born in Beaver and was a son of the late Harold M. Jr. and Erma Brandenburg Travis, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his two beloved sons, Stephen and Joshua Travis, his brother, Scott Travis, his nephew, Ren, his niece, April, his Aunt Mary, his former spouse, Kathy George and his girlfriend, Marlo Nascone-Stivison. From his early years, Richard’s life was marked by courage and determination, having been diagnosed with leukemia at the tender age of nine. His battle with the disease showcased his strength as he entered remission during his teenage years.

He was raised in Conway. Richard’s educational journey was punctuated by his love for sports. He channeled his energy and passion onto the football field in high school.

For years, he was the familiar face delivering Stroehmann Bakery goods to stores throughout the Beaver County area. Later, he shifted gears and became a shuttle van driver for Norfolk Southern Railroad.

Music was a refuge and a source of joy for Richard. His eclectic taste ranged from the twang of country tunes to the rock anthems of KISS and Nickelback. Richard’s love for music was matched only by his enthusiasm for sports. He was a devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins, and Oakland A’s.

Richard also found pleasure in the strikes and spares of bowling. As a former member of a bowling league at Baden Lanes, he enjoyed the friendly competition and the bonds formed over the lanes.

Dino Anthony Aloisi (1962-2025)

Dino Anthony Aloisi, 62, of Center Township, passed away unexpectedly on March 24th, 2025. He was born on May 29th, 1962 to
Lucille and the late Henry Aloisi of Monessen, Pennsylvania. Dino is survived by his wife of 33 years, Rita Ann (Scorza) Aloisi of Center Township, son,
Anthony Dino (30), daughter, Julia Nicole (26), mother, Lucille (Musial) Aloisi (87) of
Monessen, Pennsylvania, sister, Janine Aloisi Lombardi (Robert Lombardi) of New York City, sister-in-law, Angela Rinchuse, brother-in-law, Fredrick Scorza (Joy Maddox), nieces, Dr. Dara Rinchuse (Jason Harbison) and Ruby Lombardi, nephews, Donnie Rinchuse (Adele Rinchuse) and Henry Lombardi, as well as many great nieces and nephews.
Dino was a 1980 graduate of Monessen High School and 1984 graduate of California
University of Pennsylvania. He had a successful and resilient career having
worked 18 years at U.S. Airways, 15 years at FedEx Ground, and planned
to complete his career at the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation
(PennDOT) where he worked as a Transportation Permits Inspector for the
past 7 years.
To know Dino was to love Dino. He was a Godly man that
worked hard for his family, showed kindness to every individual he met and
lit up rooms with his jokes and contagious laughter. He was an avid golfer
and enjoyed Tuesday evenings with the Triple H golf league at Beaver
Valley Golf Course. His love for Pittsburgh sports was unmatched. Dino
enjoyed listening to sports talk on WDVE every morning and “Sunday
Funday’s” in the North Shore cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers with his
family.
Above all, Dino loved his family more than anything in the world. On June 1, 1991, Dino
married the love of his life, Rita Ann (Scorza). The two enjoyed many years of travel together
during his years working at U.S. Airways before building a family of their own.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, March 28th from 1-3 p.m. and 5-8 p.m.  at the Anthony Mastrofrancesco Funeral Home Inc., 2026 McMinn Street, Aliquippa. A mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 29th, at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 2270 Brodhead Road, Aliquippa. Everyone is asked to meet in the church.

Wayne Cekoric (Passed on March 23rd, 2025)

Wayne Cekoric, 83, of Hopewell Township, passed away unexpectedly on March 23rd, 2025.
He was the son of the late Thomas and Mary (Kosanovich) Cekoric, Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Sue (Householder) Cekoric, a brother and sister-in-law, Thomas (Peggy) Cerkoric, Jr., a step-son, Jon Rhodes and a nephew, Michael Cekoric.
Wayne retired from LTV Steelworks where he worked in the Rod & Wire Department.
He is survived by his sister, Patricia Cekoric and a step-daughter, Donna Johnson, who both took care of Wayne. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 27th from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Private Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Anthony Mastrofrancesco Funeral Home Inc., 2026 McMinn Street, Aliquippa.

Georgia “Georgie” Sarris (1939-2025)

Georgia “Georgie” Sarris, 85, passed away on March 23rd, 2025. She was born on October 30th, 1939, a beloved daughter of the late Anestis and Irene Sarris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Georgiadis and her brother, George Sarris.
Georgia was the cherished fifth child in a loving family. She is survived by her
devoted sisters, Katherine Palazzi, Athena Bilotto and Andrea Passodelis.
Georgie’s memory will also be treasured by her seven nieces and nephews, as
well as her numerous great nieces and great nephews all of whom loved her.
She lived a full life from a young child at Polk State Center and until recently at
Ebensburg State Center. Georgie never let her intellectual disabilities stand in the
way of everyday living.
The Orthodox faith was the cornerstone of Georgie’s life, and people find comfort in
knowing that she was guided by God’s grace throughout her journey.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation at the Kimisis Tis Theotokou Greek
Orthodox Church, 2111 Davidson Street, Aliquippa from 11 A.M. until 12 noon on Friday, March 28th followed by a funeral service from 12 noon to 1 P.M. Private interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.

Theresa Jo Krawchyk (1935-2025)

Theresa Jo Krawchyk, 90, of Koppel, passed away surrounded by her loving family on March 24th, 2025 at UPMC Jameson.

She was born in Hillsville on February 10th, 1935, a daughter of the late Frank and Angeline (Martarelli) Petrella. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Krawchyk, her brothers, Peter Petrella, Antonio Petrella, Joseph Petrella and John Petrella and sisters, Rose Schweikert, Gina Vivelo, Adeline Castellano and Frances. Theresa is survived by her son, James (Susan) Krawchyk, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Theresa worked as a waitress and was a member of Holy Redeemer Church in Ellwood.

Visitation will be private. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, March 27th, at 10:30 A.M. in the Holy Redeemer Church, 415 4th Street, Ellwood City.
