Ella Mae Gouldsbarry, 94, of Midland, formerly of Chippewa Township, passed away on August 7, 2024, in Villa-St. Joseph.

She was born on May 1, 1930, in Beaver Falls, the daughter of the late Ralph and Josephine (Verdiglione) Camp. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Gouldsbarry; two brothers, Nick and Eugene Camp, a son, Richard P. Gouldsbarry and a grandson, Joseph Ward.

She is survived by her children, Robert P. (Jenan) Gouldsbarry, Steven P. (Kim) Gouldsbarry, Sandra T. (Bob) Ward, Edward P. (Lisa) Gouldsbarry, daughter-in-law, Cindy Gouldsbarry; her grandchildren, Elizabeth (Josh) Gossner, Ryan (Abby) Gouldsbarry, Rebekah (Derek) Cummins, Christy Gouldsbarry, Jennifer (Matthew) Knight, Heather (Paul) Warzynski, Danielle (Brian) Zupp, Anthony (fiancée- Amanda Gavalya) Ward, Abigail (David) Peralta, Danelle Gouldsbarry, Jeslyn Gouldsbarry, Hudson Gouldsbarry; her great-grandchildren, Elyana Gossner, Kaylin Gossner, Lillia Gouldsbarry, Nolan Gouldsbarry, Joel Gouldsbarry, Judah Gouldsbarry, Micah Gouldsbarry, Asher Cummins, Laurel Cummins, Zoey Cummins, Brooklyn Byrd, Marlee Gouldsbarry, Cierra Gouldsbarry, Brandin Knight, Lance Funkhouser, Christopher Knight, Paige Warzynski, Samantha Knight, Logan Warzynski, Josephine Peralta, Aubrey Elkins, Alivia Elkins; and a goddaughter, Susan DeBartolo.

Throughout her life, Ella Mae was deeply committed to her faith.  She was an active member of the former Christ the Divine Teacher (now St. Monica church of St. Augustine Parish), where she volunteered her time to various groups, including the Catholic Daughters of America, the Ladies Guild, and the Christian Mothers.

Friends will be received on Monday, August 12th from 4 P.M. to 8 P.M. in the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SVCS., INC-117 Blackhawk Road, Beaver Falls. Prayers will be offered in the Funeral home on Tuesday, August 13^th at 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10 AM at St. Monica Church of St. Augustine Parish, 116 Thorndale Drive, Beaver Falls, with Fr. Kim Schreck as officiant.

Private inurnment will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

William D. Bradley, 63, of Baden, passed away on August 8, 2024. He is survived by his cherished father and closest companion, William H. Bradley, and loving friend and sister, Amy Rosenberg.  Bill had a passion for music, enjoyed visits to the casino, and loved watching television. His trips to Rogers, Ohio with his dad were especially meaningful to him. Private arrangements have been made, and services have been entrusted to Alvarez Hahn Funeral Services and Cremation, LLC of Ambridge.

Wanda A. Bobroski, 95, of Monaca passed away at her residence on August 6, 2024. She was born in Sewickley, a daughter of the late Robert and Blanche Krawczyk.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward Bobroski. She was the last surviving sibling of her brothers John, Chester, Edward, Henry, Richard, and Stanley Krawczyk, and her sister, Jane Kohar. She is survived by her loving children, Linda, Michael (Roxane), Edward, and Thomas Bobroski, and Frances Bane, her grandchildren, Michael (Marcie Torreance), Kevin Bobroski (Aylin Ruiz), Jack, and Jennifer Bane, great-grandchildren, Kaiden and Micheala Bobroski and John and Kora Torreance, and many nieces and nephews.

Wanda was her family’s matriach and she was Catholic by faith.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Wanda’s sons, Thomas and Edward, for their unwavering devotion and for ensuring that her final years were filled with joy and comfort.

As per the family’s request, there will be no visitation. She will be laid to rest privately next to her late husband in St John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery.

Jason David Dick, 35, of Beaver, died unexpectedly the morning of August 6, 2024.
He was born on August 1, 1989 in Sewickley. He was preceded in death by his Uncle Don Kemmler. He is survived by his mother and father, Linda and David Dick of Brighton Township; Sister and brother-in-law, Jessica and Brian Shoemaker of Beaver; Nephew, Teddy Shoemaker of Beaver; Girlfriend of eight and a half years, Amanda Knight, and their beloved dog, Daphne, of Beaver, survived by his Aunt Jeanne Kemmler of Pittsburgh and cousins Jeff, Scott, and Dan and their families. Aunt Judy (Mance Frankovitch) Anders, of Beaver; cousins, Rick, Jennifer, Ella, and Wesley Temple, of Beaver; cousins Beth Anders-Terkel and Lee Terkel, of Beaver; Rick Anders, Uncle Don and Aunt Donna Ford; cousins Ryan and Jeffrey, of Alaska. He was a graduate of Beaver High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from Kent State University and Full Sail University. For the past eight years, Jason worked as a baker at Beaver Bagel Company in Bridgewater, where he helped in building the small business from the ground up.
Jason was a loving son, brother, and uncle, who was a kind, caring, compassionate, and fun person to be around. He loved spending time with his family and thrived at being an uncle. He put love and care into everything he did. He loved going to music festivals, concerts, skateboarding, working on his art, camping, spending time with his friends and going on long walks with his girlfriend Amanda and his dog Daphne. This world lost a huge light.
A celebration of life honoring Jason will be held on Tuesday, August 13 at 4 p.m. at Brady’s Run Four Season Pavilion with Pastor Jeff Arnold officiating.

Sharon A. Paul, 78, of Economy Borough, passed away on August 4, 2024, in St. Clair Hospital.

She was born on March 10, 1946, in Altoona, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Paul and Betty (Meek) Bertiaux.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 41 years, Richard Paul. She is survived by her 3 children, Richard (Marie) Paul, Jr. of North Carolina; Eric Paul (Nicole Mayes) of Economy; Heather (Donald) Harrison of Castle Shannon; 5 grandchildren, Skyler and Kaylie Paul; Brenden and Deven Harrison; and Dalton Moon; 2 great-grandchildren, David & Tucker; brother, Gary (Karen) Bertiaux; and 2 sisters, Susan (Gary) Canello and Lisa (Daniel) Walter; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sharon was a Sales Associate at K-Martin Virginia Beach, worked in Customer Service for Automated Health Systems in Ross Township, and was an Administrative Assistant for Economy Borough.

In her spare time, she loved painting beautiful ceramic pieces, bird watching, reading, and having evening coffee with her girlfriends.

Friends will be received on Sunday, August 18, 2024, from 1:00-3:00 P.M., in the John Syka Funeral Home, 833 Kennedy Drive, Ambridge.  A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 19, 2024, at 1 P.M. in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, 1158 Morgan Road, Bridgeville.  The family kindly asks that everyone meets at the cemetery.

Sally (Sara) Hetzler Davis passed away peacefully on August 4, 2024. She was born in Rochester on November 12, 1947, the daughter of the late Dr. Norman and Grace Walker Hetzler of Monaca. She is survived by her four children, Thomas Brandon, David, Maggie Davis (Craig),and Sara Valasek (Jason); her sisters Betsy Hetzler and Sunny Whitlock; her niecesand nephews, Marc Whitlock, Katie Capallo (Joe), Annie, Trip, and Junior Hetzler; hergreat-nephew and niece William and Abbie Capallo; and her belovedgranddaughters Ceresa Morsaint and Sophia Valasek. Her entire family will alwaysremember and cherish Sally for all of her kindness, humor, and generosity of spirit. Their fondest memory and greatest comfort will always be shared moments hearing her distinctive laugh.

As a mother, sister, aunt, friend, and educator, Sally left an indelible mark on the lives of those who knew and loved her.

Following her graduation Magna Cum Laude from Grove City College in 1969, Sally proudly served in the United States Navy through the WAVES program. However, Sally found her life’s calling as an English teacher who inspired her students to find their literary voices. Upon retirement, Sally lovingly said about her career and students, “Twenty-five years in a profession I loved. I am grateful. I wish they could know that.”

An avid gardener, Sally lovingly created her English garden where she spent many hours with a cup of tea and a good book. She dedicated herself to promoting the Monaca Library and served as Secretary on the Board.

Sally was an author of poetry and fiction since she could first hold a pencil. Her poetry appeared in The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and The Broad River Review. It has been anthologized in the Writing Project chapbooks, Threads and Riverspeak, as well as inPoeArt: Where Poetry, Spoken Word and Visual Art Intersect, a series of readings, one in conjunction with the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust. Her work is also included inLavenderia, a Mixed Load of Women, Wash, and Words, published by City Works Press. She was a Fellow of the Western Pennsylvania Writing Project at the University of Pittsburgh. These collective works are now a legacy left to those who love her, a vault of memories, the gift of reading her pieces, and feeling as though she’s sitting right beside you.

Visitation be held at Simpson Funeral Home in Monaca on Sunday, August 18 from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., and a memorial service will also be held there on Monday, August 19 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Monaca Library.

Harold Milton Travis, Jr., 83, of Ambridge passed away on August 3, 2024, at PAM Health of Heritage Valley Beaver. He was born in Point Marion (Fayette County), Pennsylvania and was preceded in death by his parents, Harold M. Sr. and Gayle Travis and his three brothers, Donald, Charles, and James Travis. He is survived by his two sons, Scott (Connie) Travis and Richard M. Travis, his four grandchildren, Stephen, Joshua, Ren, and April, and a brother, Albert Travis. Harold was a proud veteran, having served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War as a boilerman petty officer 2nd class aboard the USS Mullinnix. His service was recognized with several commendations, including the Good Conduct Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and the Vietnam Service Medal.

After his honorable discharge from the Navy, Harold embarked on a career that would span several decades as a railroader. He began his journey with the Pennsylvania Railroad and concluded his career with Norfolk Southern Railroad, where he retired.

Harold’s sense of community extended as a respected former officer of the Ambridge VFW.

Harold M. Travis, Jr. will be laid to rest with full military honors on Monday, August 12th at 1:30 pm the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.

The family has suggested memorial contributions be made, if desired to the St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital.

Brian G. Pamer, 55, of Ambridge, passed away on August 6, 2024, at his home.

Born on August 10, 1968, in New Brighton, he was the son of Larry G. Pamer and the late Therese (Gavan) Pamer.

In addition to his mother, Brian was preceded in death by his wife, Rhonda (Mackall) Pamer.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his sisters, Laureen (Phil) Catlin, Eileen Pamer, Kathleen (John) Trigg, Maureen (Roger) Rettig, and Collen (Michael) Holzapfel; brothers, John (Chrissy Moye) Pamer, Kevin (Judy) Pamer, and Gavan (Alva Book) Pamer; 18 nieces and nephews, 5 great nieces and nephews, and many friends.

Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, August 10^th at 10 A.M. at St. Monica Church of St. Augustine Parish, 116 Thorndale Drive, Beaver Falls, with Fr. Kim Schreck as celebrant.

Inurnment will take place at Beaver Cemetery.

Diane “Dolly” (Cianfaglione) Hanich, 94, of Aliquippa passed away at home with her loving family by her side on August 5, 2024.
She was born in Aliquippa on March 4, 1930, the daughter of the late Salvatore and Maria (Tavino) Cianfaglione. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Hanich, four brothers: Rocco, Frank, John and Paul Cianfaglione and four sisters: Florence Antonelli, Stella DelTurco, Lucy Stephens and Esther Brown. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: David and Leslie Hanich, a daughter and son-in-law: Diane and S. Roy Java, Jr., three grandchildren and their spouses: Stephanie and Nathan Burns, Dina and Kevin Gillis, Vincent and Amanda Java, three great grandchildren: Danica, Caelynn and Evrett. Diane is also survived by her sister, Rose Marie Tomei and numerous nieces and nephews.
Diane was a member of the Aliquippa Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by her family.
The family would like to thank Dr. Karp, who was Diane’s doctor for over 40 years and the staff from Good Samaritan Hospice who lovingly took care of Diane in her final days.
