Two Shot on Penn State-Beaver Campus!!

Two people were shot on the Penn State-Beaver campus Wednesday afternoon, according to Beaver County 911 dispatchers. Penn State issued an alert on social media that shots were fired near Brodhead Bistro. Authorities on the scene contained the situation.

It was reported by the Beaver County Times that the campus was put on lock down and  a staging area near Beaver Valley Mall was being set up.

The coroner has been called to the scene of a shooting. It’s being reported that calls first came in as shots fired at the cafeteria at Penn State Beaver campus in the Student Union Building. Two people were reported down.

Shazier Officially out for the Remainder of the Season!!!

Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier is officially out for the season, according to a release by the team. Shazier was placed on injured reserve Tuesday following his spine injury.

“Unfortunately, Ryan will not be able to contribute on the field during the remainder of this season,” Steelers president Art Rooney II said in a news release. “However, even off the field, Ryan will continue to be one of our team leaders. We know his spirit and positive outlook will help him to continue in his recovery, as well as serve as an inspiration to our team.”

The team has not provided an update on his condition.

State Police Search For Vandals Who Burglarized Home In Homewood Borough

TATE POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING A HOME BURGLARY IN HOMEWOOD BOROUGH. DENNIS CARLINE OF BEAVER FALLS TELLS POLICE THAT HE DISCOVERED A GROUP OF STRANGERS FORCING ENTRY INTO A HOME THAT HE IS CARING FOR IN THE 100 BLOCK OF THIRD AVENUE IN THE BOROUGH. THE THE SUSPECTS REPORTEDLY REMOVED FURNITURE, CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS AND CLOTHING. THE BURGLARS ALSO TOWED AN INOPERABLE DARK BLUE 1954 MERCURY MONTERERY FROM A DETACHES GARAGE.
