(Hopewell Township, PA) Nora Janicki, Hopewell Township’s Community Outreach coordinator invites any residents, scout troops, church organization , or other groups to participate in this annual event. The scarecrow creating event will be held at the community park, pre-registration is required. The event is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., all supplies will be provided. Mrs. Janicki asks residents to bring the clothing and accessories to decorate the scarecrows. The scarecrows will be placed in areas throughout the township.

Additionally, models from the House of Couture Designs will be hand-selected, unveiling the chic apparel.

(Aliquippa, PA) At 4:30 pm, on Saturday, September 16, 2023 a concert featuring the St. Elijah Serbian Orthodox Church’s Choir, Honored guest choir is Lira Choir and junior choir of Washington, D.C, and Dr.  Laza Kostich Choir of Midland. At 6:30 pm dinner will be served, and at 8 p.m. there will be music by Orkestar Momci. Tickets are $30 per person.

(New Sewickley, PA) The New Sewickley Township Police Department will be hosting a 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb on Sunday September 10, 2023, at the Freedom High School Stadium.  All active and retired first responder personnel are invited to addend and must register by scanning the QR code on the attached fliers.  All proceeds from this event will be donated to the National Fallen Firefighters Fund.
