44th Annual Live nativity in Rochester December 21-23

The First Baptist Church of Rochester, 301 Adams St. in Rochester is holding their 44th annual Outdoor Nativity Scene December 21-23 from 6-8 PM.  The Live Nativity features live animals and actors.  There will be Free refreshments and children’s crafts in the Church Fellowship Hall.  The event is FREE to attend.  For more info call724-775-8931.

It’s a CAT-ASTROPHE! Beaver county Humane Society is overrun with Adult Cats.  Pay the day’s LOWEST Forecast TEMPERATURE for all cats 6 months and older.

The usual fee for adult cats is $65, but most shelters invest approximately $300 per animal.  All the cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, FELV/FIV tested and vaccinated.

A Community Christmas in Hookstown at “The Village” December 16, 2017

Celebrate the Christmas Season with a trip to the manger.  The Hookstown Grange will welcome you with hot drinks before or after you travel to the Village Barn to see the live nativity.  Move on to the Log Cabin for stories then to the Artisan’s Shop for the legend of St. Nickolas.  Stop at the bonfire to warm up and roast a marshmallow.  A meaningful family evening brought to you by a blend of our local groups and churches.

R-Act’s Annual Holiday Radio Show December 1 & 2 at Merrick Art Gallery

“I’ll Be Seeing You” is R-ACT Theatre Productions’ Annual Holiday Radio Show.

A staged reading of the show with live and digital sound effects for an enhanced listening and viewing experience.

Show dates are December 1 and 2 at 7PM.

$7.00 for the general public, $5 for R-Act and Merrick members.

Synopsis:  A young woman on leave from prison and a soldier suffering from shell-shock find love at Christmas time in this a “Lux Presents Hollywood” radio adaptation of the 1944 movie.

100% of the proceeds from the show will go to a local charity.  Stay after the show for a reception and learn more about R-ACT Theatre Productions, celebrating 25 years of live theatre in Beaver County!

The Merrick Art Gallery is located at 1100 5th Ave., New Brighton, PA 15066.
