Merrick Art Gallery presents: Illumination-The Art of the Pumpkin 10/22-10/25
Join us for a celebration of the fourth annual Illumination-The Art of the Pumpkin 4, an exhibition of Halloween themed and non-Halloween themed pumpkins. Stop in to see our pumpkins decked out in Traditional themes, Autumnal Scenes, Landscapes, Carved Portraits, Abstract or Architectural carvings, painted scenes or designs, and glittering pumpkins with jewels. Make this a date on your Halloween calendar.
Opening receptions is Sunday, October 22, 2017 from 1-4 pm. The exhibition will run through Wednesday evening, October 25, 2017. Refreshments will be served. Prizes will be awarded. The museum will be open during New Brighton’s Halloween Parade on October 25, 2017 from 5:30- 7:00 pm.

Benefits Network Is Hosting A Medicare Info Seminar On October 20

Benefits Network may have the answers for you. They will be hosting an educational seminar entitled “Medicare Made Easy” on October 20 at the Beaver Area Memorial Library beginning at noon.

Division, Your Health Insurance Shop. The two of them joined Matt Drzik on A.M. Beaver County to discuss the Network’s upcoming seminar, as well as some basics about Medicare in regards to Western Pennsylvania citizens.

Children’s Hospital Oncology Dept. needs OUR HELP!
The Clothes Closet is a closet located in the outpatient Oncology Department of Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh that is stocked full of clothes for the children receiving treatment that may need an extra change of clothes.
ITEMS NEEDED:New & Unwashed* shirts (long & short sleeve), shorts, sweat pants, hoodies, underwear, infant pajamas and onesies.
SIZES: Infant through adult large
*IMPORTANT: The clothes have to be NEW & UNWASHED due to the very low immune systems of these children. Items that have been used or washed CANNOT be accepted.
