Celebratory Memorial in Beaver Falls Honoring Lives Lost

Please join us: “Gone But Not Forgotten” – Remembering those who have lost their lives as a result of street tragedies. It’s a celebratory memorial with balloons honoring lives lost with an opportunity to say good-bye.

Beaver Falls Neighborhood Watch Meeting

The next Beaver Falls Neighborhood Watch meeting is scheduled for Monday, January 30th, 2017 at 7:00 pm at the Second Baptist Church, 2322 Tenth Avenue. “Outside the Walls: Creating Stability” featuring Rebecca Ficca Salopek, Service Coordinator/ Case Manager, Housing Authority of Beaver County, C.A.R.E. Children’s Activities At Ambridge and Baden Libraries

Ambridge teachers will host a board game day at the Ambridge Library on Monday, December 19 from noon to 2 PM. We will also be hosting a game day at the Baden Library, on Thursday, December 22, from noon to 2:00.  Kids can bring their favorite board games, and we will have some available, as well. Also, on Wednesday, December 21 from 10:30 to 12:30, the movie, Polar Express, will be shown at both the Ambridge and Baden library. For more information, contact Davin Dornack at 724-650-1806

Beaver Valley Choral Society Unveils its 2016 Christmas Concert Schedule

The Beaver Valley Choral Society has announced its 2016 Christmas concert schedule. “Christmas Is Coming” will be performed December 10th at Rochester High School, 540 Street in Rochester…December 11th at St. Cecilla Roman Catholic Church, 5450 Reno Street in Rochester…and December 18th at Christ’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 409 11th Street in Beaver Falls. All shows begin at 4 p-m. The concerts are FREE to the public but a freewill offering will be accepted.

Beaver Falls Recreation Board Holding A Holiday Light Contest

The Beaver Falls Recreation Board is holding a Holiday Light Contest. Go all out decorating your house for the holidays. Great prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Winner will be announced on December 18th. Western Beaver Band And Chorus To Perform December 15

Don Hixon, choral director at Western Beaver High School  announced the chorus will perform with the River City Brass Band  at Lincoln Park in Midland.  The event is Thursday, December 9. The band and chorus concert is  Wednesday, December 15 at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium.  December 16 the junior high chorus  will visit New Horizon School and sing in the community. The high school chorus will perform at the Beaver Valley Mall, Elmcroft Nursing Home , and  other area nursing homes.

Beaver Falls Christian Assembly To Be Featured At Christmas Eve Service

Beaver Falls Christian Assembly, 814 Lincoln Place is announcing The Stevens Family, will be featured at the Christmas Eve service at 5:00 p.m. They are from Warren, Ohio, and have been traveling in music ministry since 1985. Rich, Tami and Erin effectively minister the gospel to people of all ages through a variety of musical styles. They have completed many recordings, which showcase their creative songwriting abilities. The service is open to the public and a free will offering will be taken.
