Tyra (Riggins) Walker  announced that   sign ups for free turkeys for Aliquippa residents  is until Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 2205 Sheffield Road  or by calling 724-734-3703. Turkeys  are to be picked up on Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 9 a.m. to noon.

(Aliquippa, Pa.) St. Titus Church on Franklin Avenue in Aliquippa is reminding everyone to get out and vote on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, and then come to St. Titus Church for a spaghetti/gnocchi dinner from noon until 6 pm.

You get  your choice of spaghetti or homemade gnocchi, two meatballs, dinner salad, and roll for only $14.00.

Hopewell Township Police Holding “2nd ANNUAL SHOP WITH A COP”

(Hopewell Twp., Beaver County, Pa.) TheHopewell Township Police Department announced last Friday, November 4, 2022, that students in The Hopewell Area School District  will be chosen by their respective elementary schools to ‘SHOP WITH A COP”. Hopewell Township Police Officer and the district’s SRO Jared Rogers chairs the program.

Anyone interested in donating to the program may donate or mail a check to   Hopewell Police Shop with a Cop 1700 Clark Boulevard, Aliquippa, PA 15001.

New Brighton Lions Club Pancake Breakfast 11/13/22

The New Brighton Lions Club is hosting an all you can eat pancake breakfast at the Beaver County Lighthouse for the Blind, 720 Third Avenue, on Sunday, November  13 from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Tickets can be purchased in advance at PJ’s Deli & Catering, 715 Tenth Avenue, for $10.00.  Tickets purchased the day of the event at the door are $12.00.  Tickets for children, between 5 and 12 years of age, are $5.00 and kids 5 years of age and younger are free.

HOPEWELL TOWNSHIP POLICE DEPARTMENT AND THE OHIO UNITED PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH  ARE SPONSORING FAITH & BLUE COMMUNITY DAY SATURDAY, OCTOBER 8, 2022 FROM NOON TO 2 PM AT THE CHURCH ON LONGVUE AVENUE.  HOT DOGS, POP, AND WATER WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR THOSE IN ATTENDANCE..

ALONG WITH HOPEWELL POLICE, K-9  LEX AND OFFICER ERIN LOPEZ, , THE BEAVER COUNTY SWAT TEAM, AND HOPEWELL FIRE DEPARTMENT WILL BE ON HAND.
SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER JARED ROGERS  IS CHAIRING THE EVENT..

FOURTH ANNUAL PURSE BASH IN ALIQUIPPA 10/22/22

A PURSE  BASH  is being held at St. Elijah Serbian Orthodox Church’s Center on Saturday, October 22 from noon to 3 p.m. In person ticket prices are $50, 20 chances to win designer purses, 1 ticket for a Louis Vuitton raffle, the option to purchase additional chances,. A light lunch and refreshments will be served. A wine basket raffle  will be featured, if you donate a bottle of wine, you get 2 free tickets. A Louis Vuitton Raffle costs $10 and includes 1 chance to win a purse. Additional 20 chances in the designer purse raffle  are $10.  The virtual ticket price is $40.
