(Aliquippa, Pa) On Saturday, September 16, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., a Senior Resource Fair will take place and resources will be introduced to seniors that wish to have the information along with free food from the Little Free Food Truck, massages, gentle yoga, and live music by Vintage Debbie.

Prize drawings will be held throughout the event.

St. Elijah Choir ‘s 91st Concert and Kafana Night.

(Aliquippa, PA) At 4:30 pm, on Saturday, September 16, 2023 a concert featuring the St. Elijah Serbian Orthodox Church’s Choir, Honored guest choir is Lira Choir and junior choir of Washington, D.C, and Dr.  Laza Kostich Choir of Midland. At 6:30 pm dinner will be served, and at 8 p.m. there will be music by Orkestar Momci. Tickets are $30 per person.

Women’s Health Day Celebration to take place at Beaver Valley Mall

(Monaca, PA) The celebration will be held  at the Beaver Valley mall who is hosting the event on Saturday, October 19, 2023.

The celebration seeks to empower women by providing access to vital healthcare information, hosting inspiring speakers, engaging workshops, dynamic vendors, live entertainment and offering health screening services. According to the press release, the event will promote a healthy lifestyle, disease prevention, and general well-being.

The celebration will be held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sponsors for the event are needed, and  a portion of the proceeds will go to Cancer Bridges, whose mission is to support those impacted by cancer through various programs and services.

New Sewickley Township Police Department to host 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb

(New Sewickley, PA) The New Sewickley Township Police Department will be hosting a 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb on Sunday September 10, 2023, at the Freedom High School Stadium.  All active and retired first responder personnel are invited to addend and must register by scanning the QR code on the attached fliers.  All proceeds from this event will be donated to the National Fallen Firefighters Fund.

Memorial Run For Destiny Lute

(Rochester, PA)

There will be a bike run in memory of Destiny Lute on August 19, 2023, scheduled to begin with registration at 10:00 AM at Uncl’ Chuck’s Bar & Grill in Rochester. Kickstands will go up at Noon.

Riders: $20
Non-Riders: $15
Passengers: $10

There will also be a “luau”-themed dinner at Uncl’ Chuck’s at 5:00 PM following the run, with a 50/50 and Chinese Auction.

Vitalant announce blood drive in Darlington

(Darlington Township, PA) Vitalant have announced they will be holding a blood drive on Monday, August 21, 2023. The drive will run from 1-7:00pm at the Darlington Twp. Municipal Building. Annual Drug Free Aliquippa Back to School BBQ announced

(Aliquippa, PA) The annual Drug Free Aliquippa Back to School BBQ will be held at the Aliquippa Elementary School Thursday, August 17, 2023 from 5 to 7 pm.  The event is sponsored by Drug Free Aliquippa, the school district and the city. Donations of hamburgers, buns, and potato chips may be dropped off at the fire station by Tuesday, August 15, 2023,  according to Fire Chief Dave Foringer. A variety of activities for the kids are planned for the annual event.
