(Aliquippa, Pa) On Thursday, November 30, 2023 at 6 p.m. Aliquippa’s Annual Light Up Night will be held in front of the police station where the tree is located.
City officials invite residents to attend the annual event which runs until 8 p.m.

(Aliquippa, Pa) On Saturday, December 23, 2023 at 5 p.m., there will be vespers services at St. Elijah Serbian Orthodox Church, followed by a concert at 6 p.m. featuring the Byzantine Choir of the Greek orthodox Metropolis of Pittsburgh and the host choir St.  Elijah, directed by George Milosh.  Sacred acappella music from other Slavic and Byzantine traditions will be featured. Light refreshments will be served.  Attendees are asked to bring a non-perishable item as a donation for the event.

(Aliquippa, Pa) A flu shot and health screening clinic will be held at the B.F. Jones Memorial Library in Aliquippa on Thursday, November 9th, from 4 to 6 pm. The clinic is being hosted by the library in collaboration with UPMC. Walk-ins will be accepted for free flu shots, along with health screenings for blood pressure, bone density, height/weight/BMI, and glucose/cholesterol tests.
