The New Brighton Community Life Committee will be giving away free Easter bags and candy on Saturday, April 8. The drive-thru event will start at 11:00 AM adjacent to the Fischer’s New Brighton Foodland parking lot along Fourth Avenue. The event will continue until 1:00 PM or until all bags have been distributed.  Participants are asked to access the Fourth Avenue distribution area from Eighth Street.

Visit Downtown New Brighton for an adult themed Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt, organized by Honeybee Boutique, on Saturday, April 1 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Free family photos with the Easter Bunny will be offered at Pappy’s Handcrafted Candles starting at 2:00 PM.  Bullfrogs & Butterflies will then be providing free childcare for the remainder of the afternoon, beginning at 3:00 PM, where children will be provided a variety of fun spring themed activities to enjoy while parents and other shoppers join in for an adult themed Easter egg hunt.

Easter eggs will be hidden inside participating stores throughout the town.  Each egg will have a treat or a special shopping discount code.  Find two of each colored egg and check into Honeybee Boutique before leaving the downtown to enter to win the Grand Prize Easter Basket full of merchandise from each of the participating stores.

Don’t forget to grab a bite to eat at a local restaurant or enjoy a seasonal themed adult beverage or craft beer at Quality Time & Carry Out and The Blue Marble.  Proper ID will be required.
