CCAC PLAYERS OF THE GAME
It was a great night for college men’s basketball, and CCBC was the host. Despite only 13 total players dressed and available to play between both squads it was a very competitive game, especially during the first half. Fouls became a problem for both teams, but especially CCAC, because they finished with only three players left. The CCAC players of the game were: for CCBC, Deontae Robertson, and for CCAC, it was Jordan Mason. The final score was CCAC-65 and CCBC-110.

The first game on this frigid Friday night was Central Valley at Beaver. It was a very tight game going into the half, Central valley was leading by one point. It remained a close game until the final quarter, when Central Valley ran away with it. The Community College of Beaver County players of the game are: for Central Valley, Tyler Walker with 23 points and Beaver’s, Mike Champ with 22 points. The final score was Central Valley-71 Beaver-59.

In a game that started out back and fourth, Ambridge took advantage and jumped out to a 28-8 lead by the half and never looked back. Beaver falls didn’t go down without a fight however. Cutting the lead to 9 late in the fourth, the Tigers couldn’t complete the comeback. The Bridger’s come away with the victory on the road to defeat Beaver Falls 61-52.

In a game that was dominated by the Tigers early in the zip code 15010 rivalry, Beaver Falls Started the game with an 8-0 run and never looked back leading by as many as 20 points at one point in the game. Beaver Falls picks up it’s first victory of the year. The Tigers travel to Central Valley on Tuesday as the Cougars of Blackhawk take on Hopewell at Home.
