(Ambridge, PA) Beaver County District Attorney David J Lozier reported last Friday that no charges will be filed against an Ambridge Police officer who shot a stray dog that was aggressive towards him, biting him as he attempted to restrain him. The incident occurred outside the police station on Friday, May 12, 2023. Video footage and witness statements were used to make the determination.  No one came forward to claim the dog after attempts to find the owner.
