(Meadville, Pa.) Pa State police have a arrested 30 -year-old Joshua Andrews a former Blackhawk School District substitute teacher and track coach, on child pornography charges.
State Police started investigating Andrews in early June when they got a tip from Internet Crimes Against Children regarding someone uploading child porn using a Yahoo account.
Andrews was arrested by State Police on Monday after their investigation allegedly revealed 2,345 images of child pornography.
According to the criminal complaint, Andrews who is from Beaver Falls is being charged with 200 felony counts of possessing and disseminating child pornography, including photos and videos of child sex acts. The charges are from incidents that occurred from 2014 through July 19 of this year.
The Blackhawk School District posted on their media outlets that:
“It’s come to our attention today that a former substitute teacher and track (cross coach was charged with multiple counts related to child pornography. We have been advised by law enforcement that none of these charges involved Blackhawk school district, it’s students or staff.”
After his arrest Andrews was freed on $250,00 Dollars Bond.
