(Patterson Twp., Beaver County, Pa.) It was a special night at the Patterson Township Commissioners meeting on Thursday night as Pa. State Representative Jim Marshall  presented a citation to former Patterson Township Commissioner Eric Hoover for leading a  park restoration project at the park. Beaver County Commissioner Jack Manning  also presented a proclamation from the county. Two Eagle Scouts AJ  Trzcinski and Andrew Spinneweber worked on the project. Trzcinski said two staircases  were built  and about 150 yards of leveling was done on the park’s trails. The project started in  May and was completed by the end of August.

The sons of the American Revolution led the entire project  with volunteers for the  park. They were instrumental in the first Remember 9-1-1 5k trail run  on September 10 in the township.
