This afternoon the commissioners are meeting with the heads of the following departments: veteran affairs, the law department, domestic relations and children and youth services. All meetings are being held in the commissioners’ conference room of the county courthouse and are open to the public. The commissioners are still mulling over a possible increase in property taxes recommended by financial administrator Ricardo Luckow. A preliminary budget is due December 5th. The commissioners are scheduled to be in the WBVP-WMBA studios this Thursday for the “Ask the Commissioners” segment during Teleforum.
