(Aliquippa, PA) All eyes and ears will be open when the St. Elijah Choir hosts its 90th  Concert and Kafana on Saturday, September 17, 2022. Honored guests for this great event that was cancelled the last 2 years due to the pandemic will be the St. George Choir from Lanexa, Kansas. Other choirs participating are; St. Nicholas, Monroeville, Tsar Lazar Male Choir, The SSF Convention choir from the USA and Canada. The choir’s history began in 1930 when 2 socio-music groups formed they were  ‘SVEMIR” and ‘FRUSKA GORA’ and they united forming the St. Elijah Serbian Orthodox Church Choir. The choir continues to perform with enthusiasm and are spirited singers dedicated to the Serbian traditions , culture, and church music.

Doors open at 4:30 p.m. for the event to be held at the Serbian Center at 2200 Irwin Street, dinner is to be served at 5p.m.,The  concert will begin at 6 p.m. Following the concert Srpski Sinovi will provide musical entertainment   Reservations are due Friday, September 9, 2022.
