(Big Beaver, Beaver County, Pa.) A Norfolk Southern train derailed around 11:00 PM last night in Big Beaver Boro near the Shenango Bridge. It’s estimated that 10 to 15 cars likely jumped the track.
The tracks where the derailment occurred are in an area that won’t have a heavy impact on roadway traffic
Only the railroad crossing at McKinley Road is closed
There were no injuries reported and it’s unclear what caused the derailment.
