(Beaver County, PA) A very successful “Run For McGuire, A Special Ride for Special People” was held on Sunday August 7, 2016. 175 Bikers and passengers rode the sixty mile motorcycle trek to be a part of Beaver County Radio’s biggest annual charity fundraising effort . Early estimates have the net fund raising total at around $4,200. That’s more than double the amount generated from the best previous ride. Afterwards, everyone was treated to a picnic at Brady’s Run Park featuring food from Texas Road House in Monaca. In addition to great fellowship and food there was also a silent auction featuring great items from local businesses.
The Run For McGuire received support from many of the local police departments and municipalities along with a police escort from Beaver Falls motorcycle patrolman Jim Siget.
Prior to the ride, each participant received a “Goodie bag”, filled with great items and information.
