STAR Party at Brady’s Run 7/20/19

The Beaver County Amateur Astronomers will be holding a Star Party on Saturday, July 20th to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 first walk on the moon.  Telescopes will be set up and when the moon comes up we will be observing the area where that first moon landing took place.  Prior to the moon’s rising we will have some other activities as well as getting to observe Jupiter and its four largest moons.

The event as always is free an open to the public.  It will be held at the Brady’s Run Park Baseball fields which are located off of Achortown Road near the Chippewa/Brighton Township line.  Note that there is a detour which needs to be taken if coming from Brady’s Run Park Road.  Follow the posted detour signs to get to Achortown Road.
