PennDOT District 11 is announcing lane restrictions on Interstate 376 (Beaver Valley Expressway) in Center Township, Beaver County will occur today through Saturday, October 23-27 weather permitting. Single-lane restrictions will occur in each direction of I-376 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day between the Center (Exit 42) and Aliquippa (Exit 45) interchanges as crews conduct work on a downed conductor adjacent to the highway as a result of damage caused by a gas line explosion. Additionally, today short-term traffic stoppages of five minutes or less will occur on I-376. PennDOT is not involved in this work and is providing this information as a public service announcement only.
