A former substitute teacher in Beaver County’s South Side Area School District who is awaiting trial on charges he had an inappropriate relationship with a minor admitted today to receipt and possession of unrelated child pornography following a search of his house. Nicholas Gaworski of North Fayette waived indictment by grand jury before U.S. District Judge Arthur Schwab and pleaded to receipt of child porn that county police found on his cell phone and computer in February. A second count of possession was dismissed as part of his plea with the U.S. attorney’s office but will be considered at sentencing. Prosecutors say Gaworski faces a term of about 17 years to more than 21 years. County police arrested him on Feb. 20. Gaworski, who is now a deliveryman for a Lowe’s store in Robinson, remains free on bond with electronic monitoring, pending sentencing Feb. 7.
