Ada Anne Ohnezeit, 101, of Chippewa Township, passed away surrounded by her family on September 28th, 2026, at AHN Beaver.

She was born in Beaver Falls on January 18th, 1925, the daughter of the late George “Bud” and Elva (Cromby) Steele.

Ada retired from Beaver Falls High School as an administrative assistant following many years of faithful service and was a faithful attendee of First Christian Church for most of her life. In her free time, she enjoyed writing poetry and painting. Above all, she cherished the precious moments she spent with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Ohnezeit.

She is survived by her loving children, Kenneth Ohnezeit, Richard (Karen Ruff) Ohnezeit, and Sue (Robert) Houk, her grandchildren: Max (Kelsey), Jon (Candace), Bridgett (Steve), Cameron (Molly), Alexandra, and Claire; as well as her great-grandchildren, London, Mia, Cash, Lorelei, Grace, and George: along with numerous extended family and friends.

Friends will be received on Sunday, October 4th from 1 P.M. until the time of services at 3 P.M. in the GABAUER-LUTTON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 117 Blackhawk Road, Beaver Falls.

Burial will be private at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, 273 PA-68, Rochester.
