Linda Ann Carr, 73, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2026. She was born on December 18th, 1952, the beloved daughter of the late Anthony “Joe” Carr and Hilda (Ebitz) Carr.

Linda is survived by her brother, Father Joe Carr, as well as numerous cousins and many dear friends who held a special place in her heart.

Linda was employed by PPG Industries and H.J. Heinz Company during her career. She was a member of Saint Luke the Evangelist Parish, where she was involved with the Christian Mothers and Ladies Guild. Linda was incredibly generous and had a kind heart. She especially enjoyed volunteering at the parish festival each year. She was blessed with many wonderful friendships throughout her life and will be deeply missed. Those who knew her will especially remember her dry sense of humor and the unique way she could always bring a smile to those around her.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helped Linda find a home at Good Samaritan Church and, later, at Saint Luke the Evangelist Parish.

In lieu of flowers, those who wish, may make a donation to Saint Luke the Evangelist Parish, 725 Glenwood Avenue, Ambridge, PA 15003, where a parish endowment fund has recently been established.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th from 1:30 P.M. until 6:30 P.M. at Alvarez-Hahn Funeral Services and Cremation, LLC, 547 8th Street, Ambridge, who was in charge of her arrangements. An additional visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th from 9 A.M. until 10 A.M. at Saint Luke the Evangelist/Good Samaritan Church, 725 Glenwood Avenue, Ambridge, where the Christian Mothers will say the rosary at 10 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, 718 Hazelwood Avenue, Pittsburgh.
