Cheryl Florence Sattler (1950-2026)

Cheryl Florence Sattler, 75, of Brighton Township, peacefully passed away on August 20th, 2026, at PAM Health – AHN Beaver.

She was born in Winthrop, Massachusetts on October 5th, 1950, a beloved daughter of the late Allen and Florence (Cartwright) Smith.

She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Richard “Rich” Sattler, her children, Colleen Schmidt, Jennifer (Tom) Kehs and Bart (Lisa) Sattler, her treasured grandchildren: Cassandra, Danielle, Abbigail, Sydney, Grant, Elsa, Garrett, Foster, and Owen and her expected great-grandchild, Theo, her brother, Terry Smith, her sisters, Edythe “Edee” (Francois) Febvay and Patrice McDonough, along with many nieces, nephews, and dear friends whose lives she touched deeply.

Cheryl dedicated her life to her family, embracing the role of homemaker with love and devotion. She and her husband, Richard, were active members of the Wesley United Methodist Church in Aiken, South Carolina, where they cherished their faith and community. Her greatest joy was her family —she adored her children and grandchildren and was a proud member of the Red Hat Society, always bringing warmth and laughter wherever she went.

Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance on Friday, August 28th, from 11 a.m. until her funeral service begins at 1 p.m., at GABAUER-TODD FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 340 Third Street, Beaver, who was in charge of her arrangements.

Following the service, Cheryl will be laid to rest in Beaver Cemetery, Buffalo Street, Beaver.
