Michelle Renee (Primo) Cronin, 57, of Monaca, passed away on the morning of July 8th, 2026 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Michelle was a lifelong resident of Monaca and graduated from Monaca High School, where she met the love of her life, Daniel (Dan) Cronin, whom she loved dearly for 38 years. Everyone who knew her knew that she always had a caring heart and strong faith. Michelle spread her love for Jesus with everyone she met, and she always welcomed everyone into their home with loving arms. She was always helping others, including through her career as a pharmacist, and loved the friends she met along the way. She most loved spending time with her family, playing with her granddaughter, and enjoying time outside, especially the beach. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and “Mimi.” Her family is so thankful and proud of her for putting up such a strong fight!
She was preceded in death by her mother, Janet (LoFaso) Primo, her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Dennis and Mary Ann (Stack) Cronin, her sister-in-law, Denise (Cronin) Thomas; her sister-in-law, Patricia (O’Brien) Cronin; her niece, Ashley Cronin; and her nephew, Nicholas Primo.
Surviving are her husband, Daniel Cronin, her daughter and son-in-law, Emily Cronin-Ingros and Alec Ingros, her daughter, Madelyn Cronin, her son, Benjamin Cronin, her daughter, Grace Cronin, her granddaughter, Luciana Ingros, her father, Francis Primo, her brother and sister-in-law, Anthony and Christine (Cutright) Primo, her sister, Angela (Primo) Benson, her brother-in-law, Walter Thomas, her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dennis and Debra (Brush) Cronin, her brother-in-law, David Cronin, her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Timothy and Kathleen (Cronin) Smith, her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, James and Rebecca (Cronin) Devey and many of her beloved nieces and nephews.
Thank you to all the wonderful nurses and staff at Allegheny General Hospital for the amazing care, love, and support they provided for Michelle.
Friends will be received Sunday, July 12, from 2-7 p.m. at Simpson Funeral & Cremation Services, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca, who was in charge of her arrangements, and where prayers will be offered on Monday, July 13th at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1409 Pennsylvania Avenue, Monaca.
