George R. Beighey Jr., 55, of Rochester Township, passed away on July 8th, 2026, at his home.

He was born in Rochester on September 1st, 1970, a son of the late George R. Sr. and Marge Main Beighey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheyenne Beighey.

He is survived by four sons, George R. Beighey III, Tim, James, and Chris Bowser, three grandchildren, August, Aleia, and Alonzo, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Irma Jean and Butch Mckelvey, of New Brighton, and Dottie and Jim Mckelvey, of Monaca, two brothers, Jerry Beighey, of Texas, and Bill Beighey, of Aliquippa, as well as several friends, including his best friends, Bob Hanshaw, and Bob Winter.

George was a former employee with Friendship Ridge and was Protestant by faith. He was also an avid fisherman who belonged to a local fishing club.

In accordance with George’s wishes, he will be cremated with no service. Arrangements have been entrusted to the William Murphy Funeral Home Inc., 349 Adams Street, Rochester.
