Dr. Kelly John Allen, 64, of Brighton Township, passed away on April 16th, 2026, after a courageous battle with esophageal cancer. He was born in Hershey on July 8, 1961, the son of the late John Kelly and Doris June Allen. He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Michele, his children, John Kelly (Jessica) Allen, Sabrina (Lt. Col. Bart) Winters, and Stephen Allen, his sister, Stefanie (Michael) Mesich, and his grandchildren Jade, Scarlett, and Cecilia.

Dr. Allen was a 1979 graduate of Hershey High School. He went on to attend Penn State University and Lebanon Valley College. He pursued a career as a chiropractor and graduated valedictorian from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, with his Doctorate in Chiropractic. He worked as a chiropractor for 37 years, many times being recognized as the Best in the Valley. His knowledge and professionalism in chiropractic made him a mentor to other chiropractors, as well as a developer of his own chiropractic technology. He treated his patients as though they were family. He put his heart into every case he treated. He was a fan of Gary Larson Comics, Monty Python, Grover impressions, Star Wars, and classic rock music. He loved to share jokes with his patients; he always said it acted as a distraction because sometimes adjustments were not pleasant. He was creative, a dreamer, and, most of all, someone people were proud to call a friend.

Friends will be received on Thursday, April 23rd, from 4-7 p.m. at Noll Funeral Home Inc., 333 Third Street, Beaver, who was in charge of his arrangements, and where a funeral service will be held on Friday, April 24th, at 11 a.m. Online condolences may be shared at www.nollfuneral.com.
