(Beaver Falls, PA) The weather was perfect, The music was great, the giveaways were spectacular.  That all adds up to one of the largest crowds in recent years descending on Beaver Falls for the annual car cruise.

The event was organized by the Beaver Falls Car Cruise Committee , with co -chairmen Steve Peterson, Sam Florida and Tom Gargaro leading the effort in planning a very successful event. This was the 27th annual Beaver Falls Car Cruise and by all accounts, this year’s cruise  was maybe one of the most well attended. Steve Peterson noted the great attendance in his opening ceremony remarks  “It’s one o’lock, the cruise is Just starting, and we are out of parking spots.  If you get a good one, hang on to it.”  In earlier interviews, Peterson talked about how the Beaver Falls Car Cruise had become one of,  if not the best thing, to happen in Beaver Falls every year.  That was why he decided to get involved and organize the event with the support and sponsorship of his company, Ron Lewis Ford Chevrolet Kia in Beaver Falls a couple years ago.   Peterson later on in the afternoon on Saturday reported that  at one point in time there were over 1100 cars parked just on 7th Avenue in Beaver falls, not counting side streets and parking lots throughout town.

Beaver Falls Mayor George Quay chimed in about the event saying ” (The cruise is) Probably the nicest one I’ve ever seen, they’re parked all the way down past McMahon’s (cycle sales).”
