L. Lorraine Patterson, 93, of Chippewa Township, passed away on December 23rd, 2025, at Heritage Valley Beaver.
She was born in Beaver Falls on November 27th, 1932, the daughter of the late George and Gertrude (Steiner) Hargett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Donald “Dugan” Patterson, two brothers, Marshall and Capt. David Hargett; and a grandson, Cameron McGowan. She is survived by her children, Doug and JoAnn Patterson and Cathy and Dennis Peoples, four grandchildren, Travis McCowan, Derek and Shelly Patterson, Amber and Brad Andrews, and Krystle Mitchem; as well as nine great-grandchildren: Seth Oliver, Naomi McGowan, Malia and Rayna Patterson, Sydney and Liberty Andrews, and Harper and Rylee Mitchem; along with a step-granddaughter, Kaylee Boring and two sisters-in-law, Mary M. Hargett and Mary E. Hargett.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 17th at 11 a.m. at the Chippewa Alliance Church, 3629 37th Street Extension, Beaver Falls. Arrangements have been entrusted to the branch of Gabauer Funeral Homes.
