William S. Rubinosky (Passed on December 27th, 2025)

William S. Rubinosky, 70, passed away peacefully on December 27th, 2025, at his residence in New Brighton. He was born in Pittsburgh and was raised in the West End Overlook section of Pittsburgh. He was a son of Frank S. and Josephine Regan Rubinosky and he and his late wife Susan were blessed with four children: Shawn (Mary) Haney, Brian (Ashley) Haney, Laura Rubinosky, and Stephen (Giovanna) Rubinosky. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Aaron, Caleb, Isaiah, and Emma. In addition to his children and grandchildren, he leaves behind three siblings: Doris Stefanic, Robert Rubinosky, and Karen Kostelnik.

Following his graduation from Bishop Canevin High School, William served in the U S Army during the Vietnam War. Driven by a lifelong passion for helping others, returned to academia later in life to earn an associate degree in Respiratory Therapy. His work ethic and talent were evident early on when he showcased his culinary skills as a chef at the Top of the Triangle Restaurant in Pittsburgh. His career path later led him to Davey’s Tree Service, where his hard work and dedication were equally apparent. However, it was his role as a respiratory therapist at Heritage Valley Beaver that reflected the heart of a man committed to caring for others. He found solace and inspiration in the fellowship of Wildwood Chapel in Aliquippa and the teachings of internet Preacher Daryl Lawson and his love of Jesus. He was also an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and music held a special place in his heart.

Friends will be received on Saturday, January 3rd from 1 p.m. until the time of a service at 3 p.m. at SIMPSON FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, 1119 Washington Avenue, Monaca, who was in charge of his arrangements.
