Harold D. “Don” Shuler, Jr. (1948-2025)

Harold D. “Don” Shuler Jr., 77, passed away on October 27th, 2025, in Cranberry. He was born in New Brighton on February 1st, 1948, the son of the late Velma (Shoaff) and Harold D. Shuler Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Linda Roberts, sister-in-law’s, Ruth Welsh, Dolores Kelly, and brother-in-law, Richard Hult. He is survived by his loving wife, Lynn Shuler, his daughter, Dawn Lynn (Michael) Miller, his son, Donald Allen (Monica) Shuler, his step-son, Jack Bailes, his step-daughters, Tammi (Michael) Harris and Lori Bailes, his sisters, Cheryl (Joe) Guzzo, his sister-in-law, Judy Deible, his grandchildren: Danielle Wallace, Caley (Matt) Kemerer, Zachary (Alyssa) Shuler, Bryson Miller, Vance (Lexi) Shuler, Caleb Shuler, step-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Harris, Jason Gordon, Evan Gordon, Braedyn Bailes; as well as his former wife, Donna Shuler, numerous great-great grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews, and their families.

Harold worked as a crane man for Republic Steel, where he dedicated many years of hard work before retiring. Following his time at the mill, he also worked for Frye Transportation. He was known for his strong work ethic and his friendly nature.

In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors. He appreciated the simple pleasures in life and could often be found sharing stories or laughs with his family and friends. In addition, he loved going to the casino.

Friends and family are welcomed at J&J Spratt Funeral Home, 1612 3rd Avenue, New Brighton, who was in charge of his arrangements, on Thursday, October 30th, from 2-6 P.M. and on Friday, October 31st, from 10 A.M. until the time of services at 11 A.M.

Private interment will follow at the Beaver Cemetery, Buffalo Street, Beaver.
