Roberta Nahas, 64, of Chippewa Township, passed away on August 18th, 2025. She died from cancer, after being home on hospice for over a month.
She was born on March 29th, 1961, a daughter of the late Rose Ann (Bittner) and Robert Highberger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jim Highberger (Toni Highberger-Grimes). She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Dean Nahas, her daughters, Dana Dillaman (Amber) and Laura Lora (Jhoan), her son, Kevin Nahas, four grandchildren, Shahia, Natalia, Elizabeth and Gabriela; along with three sisters, Wendy Graser (Phil), Penny Bowser (Scott) and Ardy Skidmore; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Roberta was first and foremost a Christian and active member of her church. She was a former librarian at Beaver County Christian School after volunteering there for years. She was passionate about volunteering with Operation Christmas Child by Samaritan’s Purse and various other charities. She was also a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator for twenty years, through which she enjoyed fellowship, creativity, a ministry with which to share her faith.
Friends will be received for a visitation on Friday, August 22nd, from 4-8 p.m. and on Saturday, August 23rd, from 11 a.m. to 12 noon followed by a memorial service from 12 noon to 1 p.m., officiated by Pastor Dan Muir at the Chippewa Alliance Church, 3629 37th Street Extension, Beaver Falls. Arrangements have been entrusted to the branch of Gabauer Funeral Homes. In lieu of flowers, Roberta requests that donations be made to Samaritan’s Purse.
