Carolyn S. Woolaway, 65, of Chippewa Township, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on July 23rd, 2025.
She was born in South Beaver Township on September 30th, 1959, a daughter of James G. and Geraldine L. Murphy Uebelacker. In addition to her parents, Carolyn will be greatly missed by her son, James P. (Samantha) Woolaway of Berthoud, Colorado, her daughters, Emily L. (Tyler) McConnell of Sorrento, Florida and Kate Rose (David) Pierce of La Mesa, Califormia, her grandchildren, Theo and Jack Woolaway, and Evelyn and Ian McConnell, her brother, James M. (Kathy) Uebelacker, her sisters: Linda (Tom) Bradshaw, Rosemary (Alan) Stratton, Cindy (Jeff) Rimbey, and Lorrie Duda; as well as her aunt, Wilma Uebelacker, her former husband, Tom A. Woolaway and numerous beloved nieces and nephews, their spouses and children and her cousins.
She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Tim Duda.
Carolyn retired from Lifesteps Preschool and was a former aide at Beaver Area Elementary Schools. She taught at Four Mile Preschool from 1996 to 1998. She was a faithful member of First Presbyterian Church of Beaver, where she served as a Sunday School Teacher. She was a former member of Beaver PTA, Beaver Football, Beaver Hockey and Beaver Baseball. She coached girls T-Ball, volleyball and helped with musicals and orchestra. She also was a YMCA instructor.
Friends will be received Sunday, July 27th, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. in the Noll Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Third St., Beaver, who was in charge of her arrangements.
